Absolutely delighted with my hair. I told Mike I was going for afternoon T at the ritz as it was my 50th birthday, I described the dress I was wearing and left him to work his magic. I went to HOB Camden yesterday after having £600 extensions wefted in, i was recommended a stylist who has experience in fake hair for Olaplex and blow dry. I told him to please be gentle with my hair, and showed him an image of the mermaid like waves i wanted to achieve. He told me this wasn’t possible and they didn’t have the tools. He basically did what he wanted and walked out putting my hat on straight away. The worst part was he was so rough with my hair i was holding my scalp and kept asking him to stop ripping the extensions and being so aggressive as they were expensive and new. He continued and didn’t listen. My brand new wefts are loose and falling out, and i went home and flattened my hair as was given a complete opposite style I had asked for. I regret coming, my hair and new extensions are completely ruined. I’ve been left feeling self concious for a special occasion this weekend.

Amazing I am in such a bad way with my hair and nothing was helping. I got scared of going to the hairdresser thought fear of lossing the rest of my hair. Having been told my hair was too fine for heavy layers for over a decade by different stylists, I booked with Maki and just asked her to do what she thought would look good. She cut exactly the style I have been wanting for all these years and my hair has never looked fuller!
I felt completely at ease, not only is she lovely, she is clearly very skilled and talented.

I used to come at this salon and be happy with the colour and the service, now not anymore.
After my usual stylist left, I did use two hair colorists: one got the color right the first time, but the second time did a terribile job: she didn 't color the left side of my head properly leaving brassing hair around. The third time, last week, I asked for a slightly less red color compared to the usual color. The color has turned to be almost black with a slightly red tone. I look like a 80 years old witch.
Frankly I am tired to be gaslighted by the employees, I am tired to be not listened, to have employees trying to destroying my self-esteem by making my hair more fit for a 80years' old witch in Grimm's fairy tale.
I want something softer, lighter, elegant and they just manage to make it vulgar, cheap, old, harsh. If I bought a box dye I would have had a better result (I know because I did it during the pandemia). I really miss the professionalism and the skills of a good hairdresser.
