I’ve been a devoted regular at Werkstatt for a few years, and can highly recommend Angela and her boutique salon in the heart of Brixton. Angela brings a wealth of experience in fashion, film and TV and is not only a brilliant stylist and colourist but an absolutely lovely human being. The salon is a great place to unwind, Angela offers 1:1 excellent service and her head massages and natural products are amazing.

Angela has a great eye for detail and takes time to get things right. She perfectly understood what look I am after and I couldn’t be happier with the result. She also showed me how to style my hair at home. Amazing experience!

I was gifted a haircut with a newsletter sign up/competition with the wonderful Angela. From the moment I entered her beautiful studio I felt at ease. She listened to what I wanted and worked with the fears I had from horrible past experiences with terrible haircuts/hairdressers (I did vow I wouldn’t get another professional haircut again and had since cut my own hair for 5+ years). Angela however changed all of that, my hair feels healthy and she still managed to keep the length. I loved it when I left and still love it after a few days. Thanks so much Angela! I’ll be back x

Angela is awesome. I came in with a bit of an idea, she talked me through it all and ended up with such a great and easy to style shag cut. Amazing. 10/10 experience. Everyone and their dog is asking me where I had it done (pretty sure she only cuts for humans though, sorry dogs). Highly recommend.

Ive had haircuts before but not by a real stylist like Angela. I’ve never been asked the questions she asked. I got what I wanted AND needed. You can tell she truly cares and is thinking long term about your hair. This thinking also extends to her care for the environment which was a bonus for me.

I’ve just received another beautiful haircut from Angela, just what I asked for. It was such a pleasure visiting her in the Brixton salon - I felt so well looked after and am delighted with the result!

Angela makes you feel super comfortable, devotes loads of attention to you and gives the most amazing styles. I am very happy with this visit and would recommend the salon to everyone!

I have been getting my hair coloured and cut by Angela for a couple of years now and I want to share that not only is Angela a great hairdresser, but the experience at her salon is uniquely calming. I work with neuro diverse young people and so I’d like to add an additional comment about Angela’s one woman salon as being an autism friendly environment. Hair salons can be quite noisy and stressful if you’re on the autistic spectrum and this is a serene and safe space. Thank you Angela 5 stars 🌟
