Very pleasant experience and a very much cut.

Please avoid this salon.
Unfortunately, the service provided by Melitta for my highlights and toner has resulted in a dull and mousy colour.

I am normally a bright golden blonde.
I showed one of the directors my normal hair colour from a picture and asked if it was the same as what she was currently seeing and she couldn't answer the question.
I am going away for my hen in 10 days time and I absolutely hate what my hair looks like.

Melitta has admitted using the wrong toner but the salon is still refusing to issue a refund as 'it will be fine when your natural colour comes through in 10 to 15 days....'

It baffles me that you can admit you made a mistake, clearly see the colour is wrong but refuse to refund the client for a service you were not able to perform as it will hopefully correct itself in a few weeks.

I would assume this is a one-off bad stylist but when I requested a refund the manager and one of the directors were equally unhelpful and rude.

Please avoid using this salon, save yourself the hassle and lack of professionalism.

My first visit to the salon, but definitely not the last. Lovely bright place with a lively buzzy atmosphere.

Barbara understands my fine, thin hair and airways does such a great job!

I attend Strand and Lock every month to have my hair styled by Will. He’s excellent, truly consistent every time, repeatedly provides me with the look that I’ve asked for, and is supported well by a lovely team of colleagues. I highly recommend Will if you’re a man who wants something more than just “short back and sides”. Many thanks!

Ollie was confident with my hair, from the outset. I was very nervous, as I’d had quite a few hair disasters before, bur he was lovely, very friendly and extremely professional and talented. This is a lovely, welcoming salon. I felt well looked after - great customer service. It was my first appointment with Edwin, he took a lot of care to find out what cut and colour I wanted.

I wasn't happy with the outcome of my hair. The highlights actually turned out to be low lights and there were patches missing... I went back for a re do and she just gave me a toner which looker better for 2 days until I washed it... wouldn't recommend

This was my second cut with Ollie. From the initial consultation I knew I was in good hands! Ollie took the time to really listen and understand what type of cut and style I wanted and gave his professional advice. By far the best stylist I’ve had and will definitely be coming back here regularly!
