Today I had my hair cut and blow dried by maryjane can't stress enough how good she is considering my hair is a handful wouldn't go anywhere else I feel refreshed and so much better lovely salon can't fault it x
Just been in today to see Mary Jane for a wash and cut of my curls. As always she gives a great cut leaving my curls back under control.
They now have some great products for taming the curl, definitely worth a purchase.
Had a blow dry here on the morning of gold cup day and it was excellent and lasted me the whole day, and was also quite quick
Both my husband and myself regularly have out hair cut here by Simon. A great atmosphere, very friendly staff and perfect location. Simon is a brilliant stylist for both female and male hair. Highly recommended x
The stuff they use to wash hair smells amazing! I said I'd like my hair to have long layers and let the stylist decide how much to take off. It was much quicker than the place I'd been before. She curled the lower half of my hair at the end, now it looks and feels so much better!
I recently visited The Cutting Room for the first time and will not be going back. Although I do not have a problem with the finished result, I am disappointed with the service.
I was undecided whether to grow my fringe out or have a sweeping side fringe. However, this was not consulted and my fringe was just cut! Also my hair was straightened, again not consulted on having it curled etc.
All staff members openly use their phones and have Snapchat on display taking "selfies" thought I might actually be in one! This shows lack of professionalism as there was no attempt at hiding this.
I cannot justify the amount paid so will be returning to my old stylist.

I have been having my hair cut and highlighted for a number of years now at the Cutting Room. Jess is brilliant and does exactly what you ask her to. Last year when I was getting married, I was so concerned but she put my mind at ease and it was perfect! I would highly recommend to anyone!

I popped into the salon during a Monday lunchtime, on the off chance that they had a space for a wet cut. The staff were really friendly and were able to sort me out a suitable time.
The stylist was great, gave me a cut that I was extremely pleased with. The salon atmosphere was really relaxing, I did not feel rushed. I will definitely go back.

We had an excellent time in the salon today with Kelly, who was doing my hair, really enjoyed it & relaxing. Kelly always very pleasant and so helpful, same as the other girls, very polite & friendly.

After going to the same hairdressers for the last eight years, I can only say great things! Jess is fabulous and an excellent hairdresser, all staff are very friendly and it is a lovely salon! Highly recommended!

I had my hair coloured and cut yesterday by the awesome MJ, who has been doing my hair for a good 2 years and she always makes me feel welcome. It's always a great experience at the Cutting Room, Simon has a friendly experienced team who are easy going and really helpful. Good music and coffee make for a chilled experience and I am always delighted with the results.
