Poppy is a first class stylist. She may be recently qualified but she cuts and styles as if she has years of experience. Many years ago, as a Scouser, I used to go to Peter Collinge's salon (brother of the now very famous Andrew Collinge!) Poppy would be very well accepted as a stylist in that salon! Great cut and lovely experience.

This is my third visit to Poppy.
She’s a wonderfully friendly young lady and makes every visit enjoyable!

Daughter came for her hair cut before she is back at school. She had a wash cut and blow dry and she felt so grown up. Her stylist was professional and made my daughter feel special ( for her first experience having more than a dry cut ). Thank you! She truly loves her hair!

I had a head spa with Billie and hair cut with Mel today. The head spa was very relaxing and I could very easily have dozed off, my hair is feeling so much softer and in much better condition after. I then had an amazing haircut with Mel, she listened to exactly what I wanted and it is such a lovely cut. The atmosphere in the salon is always so friendly and welcoming. I love my visits to Ella’s and always leave feeling so much better. Thanks Mel and Billie!

After a very long absence of going to a salon, I have been able to overcome my anxiety to be able to have my hair done regularly and consistently well by Poppy who just knows my tones and colours and the way my hair works. I trust her implicitly l. The girls who assist with washing and blow drying are an asset to the team and the whole experience.

It was lovely and quiet in the salon to begin with, air conditioned and comfortable. First time colouring here, good results, efficient process. Lovely head massage. What more could I ask for?

Poppy’s been colouring my hair expertly this year so much so I felt brave enough to have my first cut in a very, very long time. So glad I did, combined with my colour, highlights, toner and sassy cut my hair feels amazing and date I say I feel great!

Felt totally ripped off at Ella - was charged £48 for a 15 min dry trim! How do they justify that…?

Another lovely couple of hrs in the chair being advised and cut by Mollie. Walked away with something a bit different and exactly what I asked for. Mollie always considers my needs as I always fancy a change!!!

Jade is always so amazing and talented with how she styles and cuts hair, especially as mine is notoriously frizzy and needs a lot of TLC! she gave me lots of layers and knows exactly how to give my hair direction to really bring out my salt and peppers. She is the loveliest and I can't recommend her enough, and she is so sweet!

Very happy with my haircut with Mel today, and products used

I was pleased with my first visit to the salon. My stylist listened to what I wanted, even gave me tips on how to create waves in my hair myself. I prefer to just sit, relax and have my hair done rather than chat and Poppy appeared to be aware of this.

Today was the first time for me to be a client at Ella's. Sophie was new to me and I to her. Sophie had no idea how my hair takes to colour and the way it behaves. Yet Sophie listened to my ideas and made suggestions which absolutely paid off. The colour, cut and care was outstanding. Thank you Sophie.

I had a balayage and cut with Poppy this morning. Poppy really listened to what I wanted during the consultation and worked with Mollie to make a plan for my Balayage as my hair has been coloured multiple times to lifts different colours. The result is perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The blend of the balayage into darker roots and the tone of the hair looks really good. I’m always very fussy when it comes to my hair colour and Poppy has got it exactly right!
