I have a new skin condition on my scalp and I was given help, advice and products to help me mange the dry skin whilst being able to style my hair normally.
Also the cut and styling are great as I have curly hair which needs to be styled correctly to not look wild.
Ellie was wonderful and welcoming. Allowed me to be involved in the whole process of adding highlights and lowlights and really listened to exactly what I wanted to be done to my hair and managed to execute it perfectly.

Ahhh Ellie is probably the best stylist. I think I’ve ever had my haircut by. She takes on board every part of the texture and colour and incorporate what you want but also is great suggesting things that she thinks would be great too. The colouring is fantastic and the cutting is beyond all expectation. Ellie really is my favourite hairdresser of all time and I shouldn’t be posting this review because it’s gonna make it very hard for me to get an appointment!!!

Second time visiting Abbey for my curly cut. I have wavey/curly hair and mid length. My original booking was my first haircut after 4 years of not having any cutting or shaping! I had grown out dead hair and it looked lifeless. Abbey did a fabulous hair cut, removing the dead hair, and giving it a new shape! I also had a lot of nerves as I have not had great experiences before, however this cur changed me. Really reassuring and understanding of what I want. Explained everything really well, and honestly could not fault anything.
6 months later, I had my well deserved maintainance trim. Abbey did a fabulous curly cut, keeping the length I wanted whilst removing the dead hair I had developed over the time. Leaving myself with a lovely, refreshed and maintained hair cut. Always a pleasure having a chat! I have had enough curly cuts in my lifetime and I have to say Abbey is the best. She understands the curls!!!!!!! Abbey also knows how to diffuse curly hair, which is essential. I never get my hair looking as good!!
The facilities are lovely as always. Love the massage chair. Always love the products, where I get my next batch of shampoo. Relaxing atmosphere.
10/10. I will always recommend for my curly hair friends, and others! See you before Christmas!

Lovely visit to Avante garde today. Emily did a wonderful job (as she always does) I had a full head of highlights, and toner, then had my hair blow dried and straightened. It’s a lovely experience going to the salon, the atmosphere, the friendly staff, relaxing water wall, massage chairs, coffee and biscuits, the music, all make for a lovely pampering experience, and then leaving the salon completely satisfied with how my hair looks, well it’s just great 😁

I had my first appointment with Ellie at this salon and honestly couldn’t recommend her more. The whole experience was just really lovely and I’ve never had a more comfortable hair wash!
I’m quite particular with my hair, but I completely trust her. She just knows what will work and what will look best.
I like to keep my hair ginger with a bit of dimension, and she got the colour and highlights exactly right. It looks amazing, and even as it grows out it still looks really natural, which just shows how good she is.
So happy with the result! I’ll definitely be back!

Couldn’t recommend Bryony more. She had great knowledge of all the products and was really attentive throughout. I’m pretty clueless on hair, so it was great that she gently guided me throughout on what products she was using and at each stage of the cut checking I was happy.
