Chris Marks Hairdressing

Becky has been cutting my hair, and my husband’s hair for a couple of years now. She listens to what we want and always cuts it beautifully. She is always bubbly and very easy to talk to. We combine our haircuts with visits to family, much to their amusement, as we live in Northeast Scotland. We see no reason to find a hairdresser near to our home.

Always a lovely experience at Chris Marks salon. Courtney always listens to what I would like done with my hair colour and cut. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and all the staff are very friendly and always have a smile for you . 100 per cent recommend this salon 🩷

Chris is my favourite stylist of all times. He listens, does what I would like, isn’t constantly trying to sell me something and does a really good job - very quickly.

I have had Chris cutting my hair for years now and couldn't be happier. The music in the salon isn't what I would have chosen but it is relaxing.

As always Chris did a beautiful cut and blow dry. He always knows what I want and today changed my style just slightly- perfect! Lovely professional salon. Very friendly and very clean.

As someone who suffers from anxiety I was made to feel very much at ease. Becky is lovely as well as a fantastic stylist. My hair looks and feels so good. I even booked my next appointment before leaving. I thought the price was very reasonable too.

I can't imagine ever going to another salon, this is how good Chris Marks Hairdressing is. From entering the salon to leaving the experience is 5☆. No big sell just staff who listen & are so attentive.

I think this is the fourth time Nicola has cut and dried my hair and I’m always very pleased with the results and would highly recommend her.

Penny is an absolutely outstanding hairdresser - expert stylist with a superb eye for colour and tremendous personal warmth. She is hugely skilled and has advised perfectly and tamed my awkward hair every time, leaving me feeling far more glamorous than I deserve! Truly, she’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had.

A very nice experience with happy staff to chat to a lovely holiday treat and greeted my dog when she came to collect me!

I was a bit disappointed when I couldn’t get an appointment with Chris but Penny was great did just what I asked with more of a flair , I am delighted

I have been going to Chris Marks for a few years now when in town. Having tried another salon previously, only to be disappointed, I have to say this salon is the best in town. Becky my stylist, is warm, funny and remembers her Clients, even if it has been a while since a previous visit. I just wish I lived in St Andrews permanently so I could visit more often.
Becky does a wonderful blow dry and takes her time, worth every penny and makes my holiday hairdo look fantastic. See you soon Becky, you are a fantastic asset to Chris’s salon! Thank you.

Chris has been cutting my hair for a couple of years. He has given good advice that helps me maintain a healthy shine to my hair. I’ve been delighted with both the colour and cut which is always after a discussion of what I want and some suggestions as to possibilities. Chris has a totally professional attitude to his craft. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

He cuts my hair beautifully, he is quick, he doesn’t try to sell his haircare products, he is friendly. What is there not to like? When you phone, his colleagues are extremely friendly. A great salon in St Andrews. The staff are all really friendly and always make you feel welcome. The hot drink/biscuits are a nice touch. Would definitely recommend!

Becky is excellent. She always makes me feel at ease and listens to what I’m asking for cut/colour & style wise, giving advice when necessary. Love my visits to this salon. I also take my 16yr old daughter who equally loves her visits and she’s not so easy to please.
