Cut and colour with Louisa 'ab fab'! Looking after colour to take me into winter - subtle and very flattering change. Louisa also helped me to save money on products I needed, can't get better than that. (Do miss Jo's head massage when getting conditioner in.)

I have been a customer for 20 odd years and value a really good hair salon. I had a particular hair issue at my appointment today and I really appreciate the extra time and trouble taken by Jo to advise me. Happy to give the most positive feedback.

A lovely afternoon. I have been to hairdressers around the world and I always return to Newport. The standard of hairdressing at Sutherlands is hard to beat. The professional stylists are able to offer thoughtful advice and produce excellent results.

I have been a regular client for nail treatments for a number of years & am impressed by all your staff. Also the salon is clean, attractive with relaxing decor & music.
All the "girls" are lovely. However mostly I have have seen Rebecca & am full of praise for her. She is very careful in her work & also very caring & has a lovely manner.
It is a pleasure to recommend her.

Customer service is always fantastic at Sutherlands. Today was no different. Marion greeted me warmly and took me downstairs. Joanna was pleased to see me and listened to my hair woes and gave me a great haircut. Bruce came over for a chat and reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. Oonagh gave me advice about make up brushes and is always interested in my family and work.
I really value the warm and relaxing atmosphere that Sutherlands have managed to maintain over the years.

Had a leg wax with Alana. She made a fantastic job and I was relaxed. Room has a lovely atmosphere.

Also had a blow dry with Robin. So relaxed and she was very quick and gave me loads of tips. My hair feels so soft and I love the feel of it. I'm very happy. I bought some shampoo and conditioner which she had used. So hopefully if I avoid the crown area my hair with be much better. Thank You for a lovely experience. Always love coming here.

Cut and colour today... So pleased with result!!! Bruce is amazing and makes you feel a million dollars and colour by Amanda has turned out lovely..... Blow dry then rollers made my hair more bouncy than I have ever seen!!!!@ Only given a 4 star for value as I could get a cut and colour in Dundee cheaper but the quality would be much less and it's true, you get what you pay for! Back again next week to get my daughters hair cut. ????????????????????

After a period time away from Sutherlands, I was reminded on my return just how great they are. Always welcomed with a smile on every visit, I love my haircut (thanks Sam) and look forward to returning soon.

Authentic, genuine attention. Highly trained and experienced staff. Marion and Bruce have created a haven of pampering with carefully selected products, personal touches and expertise. Expect fabulous treatments, cuts and styles, but I also just love the feeling of family and community. It is a joy to experience the nurturing of youngsters as they are trained. Bruce and Marion recognises potential in kids that they themselves have not yet recognised. Community is valued, you may have your hair washed by by a kid whose mum is a senior stylist and whose granny is having her hair styled next to you.

Had a 7 hour drive.. There & back to get my hair cut. Bruce has been cutting my hair for 30 years this year.. well that says how happy I am. I got home at 8 tonight from my latest cut having left this morning at 9.30.
