Excellent advice regarding hair style & colour

Wasn’t happy at all - I saw a premium stylist - Throughout the appointment I was told my hair was to long, to thick & to heavy? Also was told that my hair won’t be able to have a curly/ bouncy blow dry (I’ve had plenty over the years and it’s never been a problem!) so she ended up curling my hair with straighteners (not what I wanted at all) I was in there for just over an hour (just for a wash and “blow dry”). Then was told because she over ran, I had booked in for the wrong treatment & ended up paying an extortionate price for a blow dry??? Even for her to curl my hair with straighteners the price was obseen!! My hair didn’t even last me until I got home, to the point I had to re do it myself (again not what u expect when you’ve sat in there for over an hour!!) What didn’t help she was telling me how she does blow drys day in day out for 30+ years!) so paid £50 to waste my time & still have to do my own hair. Due to her running so late with my appointment, I didn’t have time to ask/ question the price!
Really really disappointed & not what I expected from a salon at all! I will be requesting a refund as I was absolutely gutted and fuming about it being over charged, not what I asked for & not even lasting 30 mins!!!
She also found it funny that she had run late & when I said I had to be out by a certain time at the start of the appointment & checked if it would be okay, she said okay no problem - When i left, it was way past the time I had to leave by & she laughed in my face about it & a really muggy sorry - Very patronising & rude!
I will however say, the young girl that washed my hair, done an amazing job (didn’t catch her name) & she also helped the “stylist” to help with my hair which was very kind & i appreciated so thank you! (Sorry I didn’t catch her name)

I had a cut and blow dry with Abs this morning. She was fantastic. Made a very warm welcome and put me at ease right away. Was informative, thorough and listened to exactly what I wanted! I’ve already recommended her to friends and family and will absolutely return to see her in the future!

My 2nd visit to Headlines Rayleigh and once again it was a great experience, Jade always makes me feel relaxed and she always takes time to talk over how I would like my hair styled and explains everything, giving great advice. I left the salon with my hair looking and feeling amazing and I am so pleased with the result. Thank you Jade and I look forward to returning in 6 weeks time.

As always a lovely experience,from when you walk in the door and are greeted with an offer of tea or coffee by a friendly junior, to seeing Beth and being given a superb short stylish cut. I always come out feeling great. I'm 75 years old and its nice to come out feeling feminine and not frumpy, which has happened in other hairdressers. Thank you Beth
