As I have come to expect friendly reception, attentive and cut and colour done beautifully.

The outstanding stylist and colourist, Becky Senior, has been adapting to my age and hair for over 15 years. She has a very high level of organisational skills, is an expert with the scissors, is excellent with colour and has an outstanding knowledge of adapting to the personality of the client using her very good communication skills.
All the people working in this small and well designed, sparkling clean salon have a professional and welcoming manner.

The range of refreshements offered are of a high standard and the magazines are always up to date and accessible. The products used and the prices of the service reflect the excellence of the salon which could be found in a cental city location. Many clients travel some distance to enjoy such a high all round standard of artistry. R.M.

I have been going to the Butterfly Room for a number of years. From the first appointment I was impressed by the technical ability but also by how I was listened to so as to have the hair do I wanted. There is a lovely, relaxing atmosphere in the salon and you really feel you are going in for a treat with lots of tea/coffee/water (various flavours) and biscuits. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Really helpful guidance, patient with my indecisiveness, sense of quality right through to refreshments.

Just been to see Beth for the first time to have a colour and trim. Beth got the colour spot-on and I'm so pleased with the result. Ruth gave me the most amazing head and shoulder massage and the coffee refreshment was excellent. What a lovely, professional and happy environment....I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants their hair to look really fabulous and to feel great after their visit. I've been getting my hair done at The Butterfly Rooms for nearly 5 years now and I'm always thrilled with the result. I've just recently gone from blonde back to my dark natural hair colour and Steph has done a fantastic job. I always enjoy Ruth's head massage too!

I called this morning to see if I could get my hair cut on the day!! They had an appointment not with someone I normally see but with Steph. She was equally as good. I'm absolutely made up with my cut and the fact that I called on the day and managed to get in!! Thank you butterfly ???? rooms you've transformed me again.

I come to the salon regularly and always look forward to my visit. The girls are very friendly, snacks and drinks delicious and the head massage is amazing!! Come out feeling totally pampered- oh and the hair looks beautiful too!!

Had my usual hour of being spoilt, Beth always cuts and blow dries my hair, as she has done for many years. Always feel pampered by all the staff, makes me feel special. Just for an hour I can enjoy being me, not just wife, mum and nan. Thank you so much.

The Butterfly Room is the best hidden salon in Sussex! Everyone is super friendly and the tea coffe water biscuits and nuts are constantly flowing!

Just returned home from my weekly appointment at The Butterfly Room at Carew Court Hailsham on 03.01.17. As always I got a warm caring session. I am unable to look after my own hair and the staff are great in being flexible to rearrange my appointments when necessary. I appreciate their individual attention and their professional skills. Never been disappointed with how Stephenie has done my hair.. Not had the need to tweak it as soon as I get home.. Its good to have a hairdresser that offers good advice and listens to how you actually want your hair not just go through the motions and then just do what they think..

For the whole of my life I have viewed going to the hairdressers with the same trepidation that I would anticipate a dental appointment. I have wild hair. My past experience with hairdressers has not been great – they would take one look at my hair and purse their lips, shake their heads, tut and generally make me feel as if I had just presented them with a very tricky problem. After the cut there would be the blowdry and their efforts to tame my mane we're invariably less than successful and I would flee the salon looking like a giant Sindy Doll with a bouffant hairdo rigid with hairspray.
Then a ringleted friend of mine pointed me in the direction of the Butterfly Room and I now are you going to the hairdresser with joyful anticipation. Becky really takes the time to understand your hair, and mine is now beautifully cut and coloured (so that you would hardly know), and my curls are now tamed and natural and I am finally beginning to quite like them!
All the staff at Butterfly Room are absolutely lovely. The whole atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. You are offered delicious coffee or tea and a scrumptious biscuit. There are comfortable seats to sit in whilst you are waiting for your colour to take. The hair products that are used a really lovely and you can even have a gorgeous head massage at the end. If you want to, you can style your own hair before leaving. All in all, the Butterfly room is the very best hairdresser that I've ever been to and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Couldn't be happier after my last hair cut, went for a change in style. Becky really listened to my throughts and concerns and cut my hair perfectly. Have a lovely new bob and fringe which has made me feel brighter and more confident. My fringe even looks good without blow drying which fits perfectly with my active lifestyle. First visit the butterfly rooms 2 years ago and prior to that Janet really looked forward to hair cuts, now I do.
