I had such a lovely experience at the salon from the moment I arrived. I was greeted by the staff, who were all so lovely, friendly and welcoming.

Everyone came across as very professional, and I really appreciated how they took the time to speak with their clients, explain exactly what they were going to do, and offer reassurance and advice throughout. It made me feel completely comfortable and in good hands.

My stylist, Lauren, did an amazing job with my hair. I came in with quite yellowy tones and dark roots and was really in need of a fresh colour and some TLC. Lauren listened to what I wanted, gave me great advice and worked her magic. I’m so pleased with the result — my hair looks and feels so much better!

A huge thank you to Lauren and all the staff for making my visit such a positive experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend the salon to anyone looking for friendly, professional and talented stylists. ❤️

Hi my hairstylist was peaches but was unable to get her name on this app. Excellent I felt peaches took lots of time to ensure the up do was right all staff friendly and nice lovely salon

Following a consultation, I attended my 1st appointment with Lauren.
I needed help and advice re the hair colour and we had a chat to go over that.
She explained in detail the best option and what the end result would look like.
I'm so glad I took her advice.
My pixie hairstyle is great and the colour is perfect. Hair is also in better condition and 'my greys' will be less noticeable, so I'm very, very happy.
I have booked my next appointment.

Really lovely first experience at The Strand. I booked the new client wash, cut and finish with Riley, with the cut supervised by Georgia, and I'm very happy with my haircut.

Riley was attentive and checked in with me throughout. I'm usually nervous about blow-drying as I often find it too hot, but she was fantastic and kept the temperature really comfortable. She also checked the water temperature when washing my hair, which I really appreciated.

Georgia was also very helpful and gave me some great advice about my hair colour. Overall, a very positive experience — I felt well looked after and would definitely recommend The Strand.

I love this salon. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I have had two stylists here now (Georgia last time) as I travel to see dad, from the South of England, and both times I have been VERY happy with my haircut. To be honest I can be pretty fussy, so this is really good! Worth the 6 hour trip!! 😅 Thank you again.

I’m a little disappointed with my highlights as I noticed some uneven patches in the colour. Some sections are much lighter than others, so the overall result doesn’t look as even as I expected. I was hoping for a more blended and consistent finish.

My Stylist, Emily, was incredible! I was very nervous going into my appointment as I have never had my hair cut in a salon before but Emily immediately made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. She was very chatty, which was very much appreciated, and did my hair exactly as I pictured it. My hair both feels and smells amazing.

Emily coloured my hair Magenta which i chose and colour protector on,cut and blow dry. Brightest have been and wasnt sure but now love it. Had to use bit darker make up. See you 5 weeks.

Went in today for a cut and blowdry maddie listened to everything that I wanted and I have left so happy with my hair the best I’ve felt about my hair in a long time will be returning!

A pleasure to attend the salon today. Briony, as always has worked her magic. Love it!!!

Was left waiting almost 30 mins as the stylist I’d been given didn’t like to cut short hair and I’d had to wait for another.
I’d been looking for a high end, professional experience and this fell well short.
I’d say if you’re looking for something different to a long hair style with colour/treatment this is not the salon for you.

Very happy as always. Emily always does a fantastic job and I always leave the salon feeling amazing.

Welcomed with a smile from all the staff. I felt at ease straight away. Emily took the time to ask me what I wanted and how I like to wear my hair. I was offered a drink and a complimentary treatment as it was my first time in the salon. Had a lovely cut and blow dry. I will definitely be back. Thank you Emily it was just what I needed.

My 7 year old daughter had a lovely experience at the salon having her first wash, cut, blow dry and curl. It was a nice day out in the summer holidays. It was unfortunate on the evening the cut was wonky when her curls had dropped out. I called the next day and they got her back in to straighten the cut and we received a refund. She was upset when we left as her hair had to be cut shorter than she desired but it was good that the salon got us straight back in to rectify and offered the refund.
