The Strand

It was my first visit to the salon and I was treated like a princess back again in five weeks.

Maddie listened to what I wanted out of my haircut and style. I am really happy with the finished haircut, she was friendly and experienced. I would definitely book with Maddie again. The Salon was also welcoming and to a high standard, the hair washing facilities was very relaxing, and the young girl (sorry forgot name) did a lovely job of washing and doing the treatment on my hair- thank you! I loved the welcome bag as it was my first time to the salon and I will be recommending to friends and family!

Always lovely to come to the Strand. Its such a nice treat and a nice atmosphere. Briony was lovely and talked me through everything she did.

Maddie is an absolute star. She rescued my hair from the depths of a multi colour. Maddie listens perfectly and brings the vision to reality with colour. The cut is so precise and is able to maintain between appointments. Would thoroughly recommend Maddie and the strand.

I went to the salon this morning with purple hair and I left with a gorgeous vivid orange. I don't how he does it but Alex always delivers.
Absolutely love my new hair colour and very excited for what we'll do next.

Lauren was brilliant. Made me feel welcome on arrival. The salon is lovely nice atmosphere. It was the best haircut I have ever had. I left the salon feeling great and really happy.

I had a fade done by Georgia yesterday and I’m really happy with it! She took her time to make sure it was all spot on, as well as that she’s very chatty and can tell a good story, I would recommend.

The attention to detail wins here. Ginta is so precise from colouring to cutting taking great care whilst doing all aspects of my hair appointment. She is an extremely knowledgeable and talented stylist.

From walking through the door, to making the next appointment… Anita is one special stylist. She always asks about hair condition, preferences and hair goals! She is amazing at planning my future hair and follows steps to reach the goal in the healthiest possible routes to keep hair looking and feeling amazing. The treatment/hair wash is so idyllic, who wouldn’t need a Nana nap after a delightful head massage, just perfect! Thank you Anita for always being so attentive and caring! Alex has always made my two little ones feel comfortable and been very patient. They’re usually a little nervous but today they were very chatty and enjoyed talking to Alex whilst he cut their hair. My youngest was a bit reluctant to have her fringe trimmed but Alex was patient and encouraging and we all came away happy. Thank you

Today was my first visit to Strand but it definitely won’t be my last. Briony was so lovely, she listened carefully to what I wanted, explained everything she was doing and achieved the perfect colour and cut.

Why good Hairdresser very friendly and listen to my conversation. Made me feel at ease. The salon had a very relaxed atmosphere.

I booked in through the website for a balayage with anita next Wednesday, at 2pm, I wanted to try a new salon since moving to the area and saw this place had great reviews so decided to book even though the prices were on the more expensive side (I didnt mind because the reviews were brilliant and The work anita had done justified this high price point) I got an email this morning saying "she won't have time to do it? Even though her availability was literally on the website? I called this morning and spoke to bryony she advised she could still do it but She couldn't cut my hair for me because of the time and I would have to dry my hair my self at home like what? You dont go to a salon pay £140+ and expect to do half the work for them! Ridiculous im gutted need this date as going on holiday sadly this has put me off and I expect to receive the £20 deposit back as soon as possible please this really isnt good enough!

Lovely cut and colour, Ginta is really attentive and knowledgable. My hair is in fabulous condition. Really pleased.

Most amazing experience I've had at a hair dressers, great atmosphere , amazing staff so kind and understanding of what I wanted done , mission accomplished I left the salon with the biggest smile on my face , I can not thank the stylist enough for what she has done for me today and very affordable too

Absolutely loved everything from walking into the salon to leaving! The whole place was stunning and such a friendly atmosphere, I was offered a drink on arrival while I waited for my appointment. Maddie was incredible, she understood what I wanted while also giving her advice on what would work and what wouldn’t which I really appreciated. I had such a lovely visit and couldn’t be happier with my hair!!!

I’ve been going to Lauren for years and have always left her feeling fabulous, well looked after, listened to. No matter what challenges I throw at her she always comes through better than I ever imagined, making sure I’m fully aware of how we can achieve what I’m after! The Strand is a beautiful salon everyone there is super welcoming. Would fully recommend Lauren for any hair services, she’s just the best!!

Warm friendly, professional atmosphere. The salon is very welcoming and cozy considering its large size.
As promised by the receptionist, Lauren sorted out my hair explaining why and how it needed cutting/thinning due to an unfinished cut elsewhere.
Definitely will be going back as overall very impressed.

Absolutely amazing. I haven’t visited a salon in a very long time so was a little apprehensive. However, I need not have been. I was made to feel very welcome and relaxed. Abbie was so lovely and friendly, and I think I may have found my new fave stylist, Ginta was so lovely and seemed to manage what I consider unruly hair with ease!
