I was a jingling nervous wreck when I arrived for my appointment with Alexander. He was very patient and understanding of my worries and took time to reassure and explain. Needless to say I had no need to fear a color as it turned out spot on. I felt I was in a confident and skilled pair of hands. I would definitely recommend to anyone especially those who would love to try something but fear a change.

My hair was a mess of colours and I was feeling pretty lousy about it. Sarah gave me beautiful balayage that is natural looking, easy to maintain and will last through regrowth. She’s made my hair healthy and pretty - I just love it. The previous day I had my lashes and brows done in and they were excellent too, the best they’ve ever looked. The salon is lovely, the staff friendly and attentive and the prices are fair. They also have a great range of services and products to choose from. I’m really pleased and will definitely be returning and recommending.

Took my 3 month old in and didn’t feel it was an inconvenience at all. Everyone was lovely. Love my hair and my little girls first hair cut. Even went to the effort of sorting a dated envelope for us to keep our toddlers first lock of hair. Highly recommend, try them you won’t be disappointed.

I have had aleopicia for over 20 years and today is the first time I have had a cut that I feel positively pleased with. I highly recommend the salon- a warm and friendly environment, with talented stylists.

Really enjoyed my visit today , Hair and nails, and an arrange of hair products to choose from as Christmas presents, but today receptionist Judy blew me away ! With really helpful information on a gift for my partner, for what do you buy a man who has everything! Even though Judy was really busy, nothing was to much trouble, love every member of staff at this salon, nothing is too much trouble , merry Christmas to you all xxx

Even though I live East Hull, I'll always travel up to Alex's salon as I know i'll never be short of beautiful results.

Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming, interested in what you do with yourself, they have a laugh with you and always offered a drink and make sure you're comfortable.

Its a very relaxed atmosphere too, even if staff are rushed off their feet with clients, you'll never feel rushed yourself.

All the staff go the extra mile to give you what you'd like, you're never left with less than you'd have liked, always more than expected.

I would 100% recommend this place over anywhere else, for its realness and fun atmosphere, and of course the amazing results i get every time with my hair!

I felt stuck in a hair rut, the constant feeling of putting my hair up because it felt too dry and damaged to have down. Kim offered lots of advice and I led the salon with shiny soft hair. Thank you

2nd visit today had my extensions tightened up after 6 weeks had none that had fallen out in the period really happy with the hair and the staff member she's really chatty and very professional would highly recommend to all ?

I have been to numerous salons and due to my hair being fine and curly no one ever gets it right but the team at Alexander’s have done an amazing job! Selena worked her magic and I’m so pleased with the outcome. The full team were incredibly friendly especially Selena, Beth and receptionist Judi! They all made me feel special giving me their undivided attention. The salon itself had a homely vibe, modern and clean! Amazed Selina managed to blow dry my hair frizzy hair into a sleek style. Recommend products and even gave me samples to try at home. Coffee was great too. Looking forward to my next appointment.
