Fifteen minutes after I should have been at Auton Style for a haircut by Lauren she phoned me. Her question was not ‘where are you, you dozy old git, you’ve missed your appointment?’ In contrast she asked me ‘are you OK?’ And then arranged an alternative time the same afternoon. Amazing and kindly service! And of course she cut my hair as well as ever.

Took my little 21 month d boy for a cut and Lauren was amazing with him and his hair looks perfect , she was fab 😀

Really good nail treatment (removal and apply) for daughter and myself today. My daughter's nails were difficult to remove and the appointment ran over. Really appreciate you missing your lunch to take the time to sort it out for her.

I have had a dry cut on several occasions and usually leave feeling like I have smart hair. Today I left with a good cut but felt like I had done my hair myself. I was asked if wanted to leave with wet hair or have it blast off. On previous occasions my hair has been blow dries or straightened. Of note previously I have paid less than £30 for a much better service.

First time visiting the salon for a hair cut. Daz was fab, listened to what I wanted and gave great advice regards what's possible with my hair and how to style it. Extremely friendly and down to earth. I felt relaxed and in good hands. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Daz was absolutely brilliant. It was my son’s first hair cut so naturally he was frightened but daz did an amazing job. Even though my son was moving his had all over his hair cut is brilliant. We were also given a certificate with a lock of his hair as a keepsake.

I had my nails done by Jodie and they were absolutely beautiful as usual, lovely and bright for my holidays, she is very talented

We have been getting my son's haircut with Darren for four or five years now, my son is Autistic and has struggled massively with haircuts in the past. Darren has always been amazing with him, giving him little breaks when he's needed them, making sure the hair that lands on him is blown off and just generally understanding his struggles, it's an absolute breath of fresh air that he takes the time and effort to do this as we have had a lot of negative experiences with barbers and salons in the past. Darren always does a brilliant job with his hair and is always a pleasure to talk to, we travel from Birtley to get his haircut as we know my son is settled with him and he does a brilliant job! Thank you for always understanding Darren it means the world to us ☺️.

We visited the salon today to get both my children's haircut, my little girl got her haircut with Hannah who was so patient and caring with her, my little girl is particularly shy and struggles talking to people but Hannah put her at ease and made a beautiful job with her hair, she even managed to squeeze in washing and drying and curling her hair which my little girl was absolutely over the moon with!

Darren is a superb barber! My son and I have been regulars for a few years now. We always get a first class cut and Darren is incredibly friendly too. First class service, every time.
