I've been going to Lucy for about 2 years now and she's the best! Always look forward to my regular visit, getting my roots done and a new exciting colour put on!

So happy coming here this was my second visit and had it all a nice drink a stylist who actually listened. Massaging chairs while having hair washed and treated. I came in the salon on November 24th at 3pm Derby. Can’t remember the name of the stylist but she was fabulous ( long red nails) coming back on December 24th for a re-style. Thank you x

Love Tyler, always a great experience with him. I was thankful that this time I did not have the girl with the long nails drying and styling my hair cos they really creep me out.
Don’t like the person who cannot wear a mask properly and only covers his mouth. That is not cool and made me uncomfortable.

Staff at Toni and Guy in derby did an amazing job! I am so happy with the service I received and the result of my hair. Tyler was very professional, welcoming and helpful when supporting me with the colour and style I wanted. Big thank you! Will be visiting again in the new year. Cannot wait.

Everyone was lovely from the moment I walked in the door. Lucy was really professional but friendly and really knew what she needed to do to sort out the mess another stylist elsewhere had made. I came home very happy with lovely coloured hair

Always have my hair done by tyler and never disappointed. The colour always comes out great, products used bh the salon are amazing too. I would recommend to everyone

I had a really nice experience loved my hair. Didn’t quite know what I wanted. I asked for advice and Alys was so helpful we got there the cut was amazing. I also had advice about colour for my hair which was really helpful that’s my next plan. Overall a really pleasant experience thankyou so much guys.

A HUGE thank you to Dee for his immense skill & expertise, along with care, courtesy & (rare!) ability to really listen to a customer’s wishes & aims with hair. Following treatment for potential cancer, then lockdown isolation for an eternity, then recently moving to Derbyshire, I braved an unknown hairdresser near to T&G for a simple layered cut. Big mistake. When I got home, I washed out the thickly plastered on products to find that my fine, straight hair had been gnawed at & hacked at, for the price of 1/2 a months salary. Back went the scrunchie & down went my confidence. I searched through the reviews for trusted hairstylists in Derby and found Dee, in T&G Derby, who had a larger than average amount of happy reviews. Best choice I made in years. Absolutely faultless, professional manner, intelligent, extremely knowledgable as to hair types & suitability of styles. Well, we both gasped as Dee carefully up the grossly uneven left/right sides of my hair, the cruelly hacked off lumps, the whole, sadly ridiculous, attempt at ‘styling’ that the other ‘stylist’ had done. Dee was so reassuring and logical about how he could resolve the damage that it lightened my mood & I was able to laugh at the whole situation. I came out, smiling, happy, reassured &

As a client, I have now known Sarah Melvin for almost two years and would like to state the absolute state of the art work that Sarah always conducts. Sarah is a senior and very experienced hair stylist, who absolutely excels in all hair techniques, i.e. smoothing, hair styling, hair colouring and so forth. Tony Guy Derby is very privileged to have Sarah working for them and, as a client, I feel very privileged too to have Sarah Melvin as my hair stylist. I had a really positive experience at Toni and Guy in Derby yesterday. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and the salon environment was very clean and fresh. I had a great haircut from Dee who took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and added a few helpful suggestions. I’m really pleased with my haircut thank you!

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. This man has ruined my life until my hair grows to the length I had asked it to be cut. I asked for my hair to be cut to my shoulders, however, this “stylist” decided to cut my hair to my chin! That’s a 3” difference and frankly if he cannot realise the difference between shoulder and chin he does not deserve to have a job anywhere and should not be a hairdresser anymore. Every time I look in the mirror I want to cry because my hair is so short and I can’t style it in anyway possible. To top it off, my hair is naturally curly meaning when I let it dry naturally it’s going to be much shorter than my chin, meaning I’ll have to constantly straighten and damage my hair, which is not what I want. I even told the hairdresser that I don’t do much to my hair on a regular basis in the way of styling, I simply put it up into a ponytail, which is not virtually impossible because it is SO SHORT!! I have no words for how angry I am at this “stylist” and cannot express how much he has ruined my life until my hair grows 3”, which will probably be about 6 months, maybe longer. So, never go here and get ***** to do you hair because he won’t listen to you and will ruin your hair. Overall, THE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a salon and I definitely will never be going back.

me through the options that would suit my hair type and length; I had a few photos of what I wanted and they explained what would work best. Kept length but thinned out a lot of the heaviness as my hair is so thick. Really pleased with results. Thank you.

After first visiting Lucy at the end of 2019, she has rescued by box-bleached disaster to become sustainably healthy and getting some significant length I haven't had for a decade!! Always love going to see her for her personality as well as artistry and skill in her field.

Tyler was so lovely and professional, he has such knowledge and experience, my colour is fantastic, I am so pleased. I had highlights and low lights, my hair looks beautiful. The customer service at the Salon was excellent and professional, would definitely recommend Tony and Guy Derby.

It was ok, I did not come out with what I asked for, the back was cut short when I asked that the back was left length wise but just thinned out, my last 2 cuts were not as good as they have been before , more along the lines of a £20-30 haircut, not £50+

Kieran did a really fab job of my hair last week, I'm so pleased with the transformation from my super long mop to collarbone length with some natural waves. He was super friendly and understanding and I felt very at ease with him. I've come to the salon for years, I'm pretty sure I've had my mop chopped by every single one of the stylists there and have never been disappointed. I'll always be coming back to Toni and Guy!
