I highly recommend Blend Salon. I’ve been going to Blend for over 3 years after trying out many “high-end” salons in Derby, and I haven’t found a salon or stylist who can do my hair better than at Blend.
Jo is AMAZING, always working her magic.
Other stylists at the salon are great too!

I was asked by Kelly what I was thinking about having done and I said I'd like an Autumnal vibe.
Kelly always explains to me what she can do to create my vision, (I do like to swap and change a fair bit),then just like that! The magic happens. Every day is a good hair day when you are a Blends client x. 10 star rating

I had a consultation with Kelly who was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She took time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. I'm looking forward to my first appointment later in the month!

I always get Jo to cut my hair now as she really listens to what I want, and with such high skills, I come out feeling fabulous time after time! And more importantly, I can now manage my own hair very well inbetween my 8 week cuts!

Jess coloured my hair and it was my first time colouring it so I was quite nervous. But she did such an amazing job and gave me exactly what I asked for. I love the result and have gotten so many compliments. Excited to go back to her soon!

A bright, tastefully decorated, immaculate salon, with a great range of products/treatments/services.
From walking in there’s a high end luxury feel, however still retaining a warm,friendly welcoming atmosphere, Which I attribute to the owners and stylists , who are all individuals have such great personalities, are all attentive listen to what I need, use their experience and talents as stylists to give a brilliant outcome every time , it also makes for a very relaxing,enjoyable experience.
Today I had root touch up ,a few face framing highlights and hair conditioning treatments, a cut/blow dry ,leaving with hair that feels like it did when I was in my 20’s (that’s more than half my lifetime ago )
This is the longest I’ve ever gone to the same the same salon , 9 years, I’m always time starved, go way too long between cuts/treatments & wash my hair daily (so not really a dream client)
However this salon keeps great records,of previous colours/treatments I’ve previously had , works around my needs with colour /cut/treatments always breathes new life into my hair every visit.
I’ve never had anything other than an exceptional experience, consistently every visit.

Staff, and premises are perfect. Always a pleasure to go to Blend

I saw Jess today and she was amazing. She was very thorough in our consultation. Friendly and chatty made me feel at ease . Once Jess had finished she made sure I was happy with her work and asked if I needed anything else doing . This is my first time at the salon and I'm very impressed. Thank you Jess for giving me my confidence back .

Received a fab haircut from Steph. She made sure I was completely happy with the cut and was more than happy to try something new even after she’d finished (although I chickened out!). She was super friendly and chatty and made sure I had a drink. Will definitely be getting a haircut here again!

I have been having my hair styled by Joey for about 18 months. He takes such care to ensure that I am happy with my cut. He is always so friendly which makes the experience so great.

Went to do a mid-year good haircut to keep my hair healthy. As soon as I walked in my hairstylist was ready to get started, she did an amazing job as always! Advised on what she thought it was best after listening to what I wanted. The appointment was finished in less that an hour and I came out looking all refreshed. I will be back for my colour appointment in a few months now.

I'm a new client and have a pixie haircut which not many stylists I've found can do , Steph has transformed my hair into exactly the cut that I wanted, really listened and took her time , I'm so happy and will recommend to all friends and family .

Stylist Natalie is very knowledgeable and always discusses colour and cut before proceeding with appointment.
There is also choices of shampoo and conditioners that compliment the colour or treatment of hair for longer lasting colour and damage to the hair if any.
I would definitely recommend this hair salon.

First time using the blend salon and absolutely loved my stylist Jess, I’ve got curly hair so it’s difficult to find someone who understands the cut my hair needs but beyond happy with my hair

Jess was really gentle and caring taking out my hair extensions today, lovely salon and always a fab experience! Can’t wait for my new ones to go in!!

Jo and the team are fantastic and I always feel fabulous when I leave the salon, and today was no exception. My colour looks glossy and shiny and the extensions matched perfectly (as they always do!) as well as adding some extra volume to my own hair.
It doesn’t matter who you talk to in the team, they seem to all enjoy what they do, they’re all attentive, friendly, cheerful and happy to chat with each client they meet. A great salon and in a grab location.

Very attentive and welcoming staff . I am fairly new to area so need to change hairdressers. Kelly is very good , she listens to what you would like and gives her expert advice, the result a very happy customer. I feel so happy to have a hairdresser that is so knowledgeable and understanding.

As always the perfect cut, friendly staff always a laugh to be had with the ladies and kelpie know exactly what I want even though I change from growing to shaving it off on a regular lol

….after not having my hair cut for such a long time I was worried I’d have to have loads cut off in order to start again but Kelly was so understanding & got that I didn’t want it all chopped off. She literally transformed it with ‘just a cut’, a bl**dy good one!! Left the salon feeling miles better & happy with my hair for the first time in a long time. ☺️

I’ve been coming to Blend for nearly 10 years and had the same stylist the amazing Kelly, love the how she chats through what I like and don’t like about my hair before and I walk out feeling fabulous! I moved out of the area for 3 years and no-one could match her! When I knew I was moving back Blend was the first appointment I made! Keep up the fabulous work Blendies x
