Hair & Beauty at Slimming World Alfreton, Derbyshire

Thank you so much for making my hair healthy again. I was really nervous to come in the first time and really looked forward to my second visit. You are so kind and talented. It make all the difference in making me feel comfortable and welcoming. Thank you again for all your hard work.

I asked Jane to advise me on make up to take on holiday and she was most helpful, kind and attentive. It was a pleasure to come into the salon.

Lydia is amazing…I had a terrible hair cut (at a different salon) and Lydia has been working her magic to get my hair back to something I like. She is so honest and lovely, wouldn’t have my hair done by anyone else now!

Georgia does my lashes fortnightly and makes the best job, I absolutely love them and I get so many compliments. Georgia is always so happy and bubbling and is just a lovely beautician.

On arrival I got a warm welcome, a drink & a snack. Lucy was lovely throughout, explained the process as she went & was polite and friendly. My brows look amazing and she’s done a perfect job on my lash lift. Will definitely rebook!

Georgia was very warm & friendly. Made an exception job of my pedicure! Will most definitely be returning soon.

From the minute I walked through the doors the whole experience was 100% Ruby as usual talked through what she was doing advising on products,colour cut. Always leave feeling relaxed and extremely happy with the end results. The whole experience is fantastic

I've been coming to h&b for many years & every hair day is absolutely amazing from start to finish, from the moment you walk in til you walk out. The complimentary drinks are an added luxury & the service is second to none. Ruby is incredibly talented & I always leave her to it, to make me look & feel a million dollars & she never disappoints 💕

So…I was growing my hair, so naturally not visited for a few months. Sat down, Ruby asked what are we doing then? I’m growing my hair…well why are you here?!? She was right I started to look like a scruff bag but after Ruby’s magic I walked out a celebrity (although the autograph requests has been annoying). Mint place and people.

It’s the first time I’ve had the treatment and Georgia took her time to explain the whole process and talked me all the way through it. Her attention to detail is second to none.

Such a friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, and Jodie and Alicia were a cracking team, giving me a fabulous time. All the colours and such fun! Good discussion and total understanding that I wanted something completely different but fun.

Absolutely love my new hair! First time at Slimming World Hair and Beauty and I wasn't disappointed. I met with Ruby prior to my appointment to do a patch test and talk about what I had in mind. She gave me options and advice and left me excited for the result. The consultation was key and meant that I walked away loving my new look. Ruby was great throughout the process, talking me through what she was doing and how long the different elements would take. The whole experience was great, a cheeky glass of Prosecco whilst having my hair done was the icing on the cake.

After spending an extended time in hospital I came into the salon with my hair looking dreadful & feeling pretty rubbish. Lydia spent time to understand what I wanted to achieve, gave suggestions and showed me examples. She was so considerate of the fact my scalps still painful. The cut & colour are amazing and more importantly I feel like I’ve got a bit of the old me back; I can’t thank the team enough!

Always a lovely appointment and catch up with Lucy. She’s always happy to see what nail pics I bring along and always does a fantastic job.

Another lovely hair experience with Ruby. She is always kind and welcoming. Today I felt unwell but Ruby was really careful and looked after me. And my hair looks great too!! If you ever had concerns about skin needling then speak with Dawn. I have never had it done and to be honest wasn’t quite sure what was going to happen. I had spoken with Dawn previously and she explained the procedure. On the day she talked me through everything, all paperwork completed and away we went with my first treatment. Dawn was comforting throughout and made me feel at ease. The aftercare card I received made me feel even better. I can’t tell you what the results are like as it is too early. I enjoy visiting Slimming World as there is no pressure sell for the next appt. It is left up to me as the client but I know the team are at the end of the phone to talk.

I have come here for my hair for a while now and I always leave feeling amazing. Ruby is so lovely always has a smile and genuinely a lovely person who always does an absolutely amazing job! She just knows exactly what I want without me even knowing what I want! It’s magic ✨

Had amazing nails done today by Dawn. Such a lovely lady and my nails are perfect!! I usually go to walk ins but after going to hair & beauty you can tell the difference in quality of nails and the service, so I will be booking my future appointments here from now on

When Lydia does my hair, I always leave the salon feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Lydia can tackle and colour challenge and fix any bad hair! She’s a wonderful soul and is happy to talk but there is no awkwardness should I prefer to have a more silent and mindful session. Thanks Lydia!!
