This was my first time in a hair salon. Staff were nice, my hair was done by Orla, she was lovely. I wanted a balayage, but she had to lighten my hair first. This turned out well because I couldn't get rid of the dark colour in my hair. She put highlights into my hair too. I was also able to use a student discount with her. I would go back.

I was very satisfied with my blow dry on two consecutive weeks. Orla was aware my hairdresser was on holiday and was very attentive to ensure my hair was as I usually have it done. Thank you
The shampoo boy was welcoming. The hairdresser then spent all of ten minutes cutting my hair straight across the bottom and wasn't bothered to style it. Just a quick blow dry and not even what I would consider a good job. £35 for 10 minutes with the stylist. Will not go back.

Very nice friendly salon and was very pleased with how oral did my hair for my daughter’s graduation.
Lyndsey listened to my hair needs and quickly assessed my hair type, before talking me through her plan. She was lovely to deal with; efficient and offered lots of helpful advice, without pushing products. Lyndsey also didn't feel the need to chat the whole time... Which I really like and think is hard to find! Thanks Lyndsey, I'm delighted with my cut and the whole experience was great!
From the moment I walked through the door I was impressed by the beautiful bright salon, so clean and fresh. I was made to feel very welcome by all the friendly staff. The consultation with Julian was excellent, the hair wash so relaxing and the finished cut was AMAZING. I was walking on air and so pleased when I left the salon. I was treated like a celebrity. The girls were really nice and the service was great.
First of all I'm very nervous about hairdresser's handling my hair and hadn't been to one in nearly 2 years...until yesterday. I was so impressed with their client service first of all, so friendly and welcoming and I felt relaxed instantly. Lyndsay was my hair dresser and she asked me so many questions to help me understand what we were going to do with my hair. Again it was very relaxing and made to feel your hair was in safe hands. A big thing for me. They made me tea twice which I loved, I felt at home as we talked about my wedding next year, my dogs, what I do etc. and no it wasn't a forced conversation it was just nice and natural. Really professional staff, all smiles, working great together, brilliant communication and constantly keeping the salon clean and tidy as they work. I'm so thrilled I found Lyndsay at The Sitting Room. Thank you for making my hair gorgeous. I'll see you soon.

This was my first time at The Sitting Room. I went there as Geraldine had started their and she trained with my daughter year's ago. I have a double crown very fine hair with kink's and curls when I get hot. A hairdresser's nightmare and I find it very hard to get a good haircut. I'm very pleased with my cut and my colour and will be a regular client from now on. Thank you Geraldine I'm very happy with my hair.
