I've battled with my curly, frizzy, humidity-hating coarse hair for an age, experimenting with countless salon-grade moisturising, keratin, and protein shampoos, conditioners, and masks in every which combination. I've even resorted to butchering my hair with Yuko Japanese Straightening which I was willing to travel over 300 miles for.

KeraStraight was my last hope before finally ruling my hair a lost cause. The Colour Lounge came through, not only with a top-notch treatment but also with tailored advice that truly made a difference for my hair. Beyond that, the salon boasts a fantastic atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and lovely!

I've now gone from hopelessly straighten my hair multiple times a day and shielding it under hats to combat the inevitable humditiy-induced frizz that would ruin my style 5 seconds after stepping outside, to straightening my hair...every 2-3 months. The need usually arises due to roots, indicating it's time for a touch-up treatment.

Class salon; knows their curly/frizzy hair and everyone there's lovely. Thanks guys!! 🥰

Took my daughter for her first hair cut for years and she was very apprehensive but as soon as we entered the salon the friendly staff made her feel relaxed and the cuddle from Harvey the dog made her day.

Have been a regular customer since the salon opened. Great customer service and the owner, Lisa is so knowledgable on all aspects of hair. Would highly recommend.

I adore The Colour Lounge, so much so, I travel an hour to get to it. I normally have Lisa who is beyond brilliant but she was booked up today. I was in desperate need of a refresh before I go away tomorrow so I had Emily instead…wow, you can tell she’s been trained by Lisa, I absolutely LOVE my hair. Thank you Colour Lounge, you NEVER fail to make me happy!

Whenever I enter colour lounge I feel relaxed and welcome. Starting with Harvey the salon dog , a hot drink is always offered . The head massage is amazing . My hairdresser Emily is amazing and always listens to what o what . The whole experience is magnificent .

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lovely people who offer to hang your coat up and get you a drink while you’re waiting. Absolutely gorgeous and loving salon dog that likes to sit on your lap while you’re getting your hair done and give you cuddles. Always a great time at this salon

Lisa is a wonderful hairdresser and really looks after me. She cares about her clients and really goes above and beyond. I used to dread appointments for my hair loss system but now with Lisa and the Colour Lounge I really look forward to them! It’s a lovely experience visiting the salon and my hair looks brilliant everytime!

My first visit to the Salon was a truly positive and valuing experience.
I received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival from Lisa, and Team, including Harvey.
During my Consultation I felt listened too and Lisa provide me with expert advice and guidance regarding my hair requirements and used her skills to create a style that suits.
I enjoyed a head massage and scalp treatment, I was kept hydrated with much welcome cups of tea in fab surroundings.
