I had appointment with both Olga and Domenic. Olga is a master colourist, correcting layers of previous colours not doing me any favours. Domenic expertly and skilfully cut my unruly long har with such precision I left feeling like a million dollars!
Antonia is the best at colour and balayage and her blow dry is another level
The girl who washed my hair seemed to have very little idea of how to properly wash someone’s hair. When applying the shampoo, she was barely touching my scalp and was moving my head from side to side rather than actually washing my hair properly. It felt she lacked the basic care and technique I would expect from a professional salon.
She also didn’t apply any conditioner, and I had to remind her to do so.
I do want to say that the blow-dry afterwards was great, and I was very happy with the result. However, the hair-washing experience was really disappointing and unfortunately took away from what could otherwise have been a very good visit.
A perfect Friday morning: relaxing head massage, a nice cup of coffee, a good chat, and a flattering new haircut. Thanks for the treat, Domenic!
Zivile is amazing, she understood what I was trying to achieve with my style and hair. She communicated it very well and very happy with the results and I have been going back since and really happy the way my hair is doing. I am enjoying my natural curls more.
I was also recommended some great products which helped my hair condition and styling.
The entire experience from the moment you enter to hair wash and dry and till you leave is very hospitable and nice.

Dom has cut my hair for many years and I am always delighted with the cut and style. Vakrat is conveniently located near the tube on Hampstead. The building has great character and is an amazing place, spacious and calming. Everyone who works there is very friendly and welcoming. The reclining ‘bed’ type chair offers a comfortable wash and head massage. Altogether a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Mattia is very attentive, explains things clearly, and is highly attuned to what the client wants. Above all, he is incredibly talented. Even though there was a language barrier, he was so friendly and helpful that I didn't face any difficulties at all. I received excellent service at every stage, from the hair wash to the cut and blow-dry. Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Vakrat. The whole team was dedicated which made me feel so well looked after. From the staff’s hospitality when I arrived, to the relaxing head massage (best I’ve ever had) to the actual haircut. I came in wanting a textured pixie with a fringe after growing my hair out for a while, and my stylist Domenic really heard me.
Going back to short hair felt like a big moment for me, and the result is exactly what I was after thanks to Domenic’s great work. Highly recommend!

She's fantastic, a super professional who immediately understood exactly what I wanted and needed from a haircut - I left feeling prettier than a Queen - we kept my beloved length and my hair now looks full and healthy, with a flattering shape around the face, I am most grateful! No getting away from the wow factor of the building, inside and out, it's beautiful and such a relaxing environment. However, what really matters is the outstanding quality of hair service i received. I researched carefully before finding a hairdresser, and what clients were saying about Olga is that they would go wherever she goes - i know why now!
