That’s twice I’m late for an appointment (sadly in a row) yet I was still received in such a friendly manner and had my hair transformed from a bird’s nest to a super handsome style. Very grateful for Lucie’s miracle scissor work, and again my apologies for the bother this has caused to your schedule.

I visited the salon for the first time yesterday and it was brilliant! Ineta was very lovely and took the time to work out what was best for my hair while still trying to see how light it could go (without getting wrecked or uneven). I was a bit nervous as I worried my hair was beyond repair but it came out brilliantly. Will be back, and already consider this place my new go-to. Blow dry by Sophie was well-done too. Would recommend!

Always a joy to get my haircut with Peggy. I think she’s been cutting my hair for almost 17 years. She’s very talented, I 100% trust with my hair, my hair always looks fab after seeing her & she’s just a really lovely person. T&G are very lucky to have her, she’s a credit to the company. She’s just fab. My partner gets her hair cut by June who is also lovely & very talented.

Excellent booked for highlights and cut but when I chatted with jo and agreed what would work best which included stripping back existing colour jo pulled out all the stops including getting a colleague over from sister company to give me the cut as my treatment overlapped Jo’s appointments. Win -win

Jo gave me invaluable advice. I wanted a style that required my hair to grow a bit so Jo advised me to persevere with this. I said I wanted my hair more texturised at the ends. She explained that my previous hair dresser hadn’t done a bad job with the colour or cut and said I suited the general look and colour. She tidied up my fringe free of charge and did a patch test for colour. She also suggested tweaking my colours to make it more pleasing to me. She also suggested a product I could use to create the volume and texturised look I was looking for. She delivered her advice and expertise in a very friendly and refreshingly down to earth manner.

I was particularly impressed by her reluctance to criticise my previous hsirdresser and her approach to helping me get, in time, the look I was trying to achieve at absolutely no recompense to herself .

Isabella is hair styling genius! She is so skilled at managing my curly hair, and somehow always manages to keep my style looking fresh without needing radical changes. The salon runs so smoothly that I can get a cut and style in my lunch hour, so I don't have to stay late in town or give up any of my weekends. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and it's a pleasure to visit.

Curls are notoriously difficult but June does an excellent job every time. 10/10 for curl management skills!

June was fantastic. Listened to what I wanted and unlike other places didnt disagree or do something different.

Top professional coloured and highlighted better than I had hoped as I have dark hair and she made into golden light colour. The cutting was spot on.

Not happy. Popped in yesterday. Consultation was a bit rushed and it was slightly difficult to communicate with the stylist. I wanted a couple of inches off with a layer but for the layer to not be too feathered? so as not to flip out too much if not blow dried. A long bob was suggested with the option to cut layers in if I wanted later in the cut. I'm pretty sure she just cut all my hair in a straight line at the back. It looks like it did the one time I cut it myself. I was expecting her to shape it and layer it and create some movement etc once dried. I was also expecting the blow dry to have more volume. Just very disappointed with the experience. Once cut and dried I asked her to cut into the bottom of my hair, it's thick so can be bushy at the bottom. I figured it was a very basic haircut but that the girl was perhaps young and inexperienced and saw no point in trying to say that it wasn't good enough. I got home and realised that my hair looked like a brush at the end when tied up. Not attractive and I tie my hair up a lot at work. The ends needed more cut into. Called the salon to ask if I could have this dealt with. Only to be hit with well it's like that because that's what you asked for but of course come in. I did say to the girl on the phone that there was nothing wrong with the cut but tbh I was just trying to be nice.
All she needed to say was no bother pop in and we'll fix it but instead I was made to feel bad for complaining. I also don't think that I was charged correctly. If I was then it means the girl who cut my hair was a style director and I very much doubt that. I was in and out in less than an hr which included my hair getting curled which is never usually the case as my hair is so thick. Basically overall an expensive mistake which I'll now have to spend more getting fixed elsewhere.

Again looking for a bit of a change to my haircut and as usual Jo was excellent at translating this for my inclined to be frizzy hair. The finished style and blow dry was really super and has lasted all week - magical! Jo and all staff really friendly- like visiting friends!

I had such a good experience yesterday. They managed to fit me in even when I had been booked into another day and they were busy. My hair cut was really good, I love it so much and what really stood out was how welcomed they made me feel. My experience overall was great they really looked after me.

The staff and service was fantastic as always which is why I keep returning.

Fabulous cut and colour was good too. staff there were very helpful and poliite. Shall keep visiting this company .
