Amazing experience from start to finish. I’m not a woman who enjoys the hair salon experience .. before I booked an appointment I called and asked for a stylist who wouldn’t bully me into getting something I didn’t want or who would cut too much off..I booked with Kate and I’m so glad I did, what a lovely person she is and such a talented colourist and stylist. She listened to exactly what I wanted and looked at photos I had brought for my highlights and gave me everything I wanted. I am thrilled with the result and the whole experience. I’m also going to mention Angel who washed my hair and gave me my massages I could have slept in her hands, she made me feel so relaxed. JDH an experience worth taking xox

Excellent colour as usual from Tracy.

Couldn’t be happier with the results from my colour. Having dark curly hair I was previously told that blonde highlights wouldn’t be an option without causing damage. That couldn’t be further from the truth thanks to JDH. Awesome service and Gemma was V patient to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the end result. Would highly recommend. Additionally, had a lovely hand massage and the coffee is good too!

Always feeling great after a Facial with Nikki and skin looking younger than what is on my birth certificate. Easily the best in town!

Lovely manicure and shellac polish.

I can’t remember the therapists but she did my waxing on Saturday afternoon at 13.15. She did introduce herself at the beginning but I’ve forgotten. She was absolutely brilliant though. Almost a totally pain free wax!

I had asked for my hair to be trimmed and just a tidy up (given that I am getting married in two weeks time...) but instead I got a whole different haircut/hairstyle and much shorter than I had wanted. I showed the stylist pictures of what I wanted and didn’t want, but it seems she wasn’t paying attention. She just kept cutting without explaining what she was doing. It also doesn’t look symmetrical between the left and right sides! Not much I can do about it now except hope I can make it look somewhat decent on my wedding day!!

This was the first time in the salon and it didn't disappoint. Everyone I encounter was naturally friendly and helpful. Kerri put me at ease and understood completely on what I wanted and what a nightmare my type of hair could be, even giving me suggestions on how to control it.

Kerri has been colouring, cutting and styling my hair for years now. She is so lovely, friendly and attentive. She listens to what you would like. She lightened my hair gradually from being really dark and my hair stayed healthy throughout despite going a lot lighter. I would highly recommend Kerri as your stylist. The other staff at JDH Glasgow are lovely too. Aveda hair products are amazing.

Had an amazing experience at James Dun in Glasgow. Alanna cut and treated my hair and it honestly feels lovely. I had a lot of hair cut off and it’s now so light and soft! Would totally recommend them and especially the shine treatment.

I read a blog about this place and knew I had to try it! Luckily a business trip brought me to Glasgow. No hair appointment needed so opted for spa.

The building is AMAZING!

The facial went too quickly - I wanted another one! Atmosphere was so lovely, if I was Glasgow based, I would love to have my hair done here too!

I have recently visited the James Dun salon in Glasgow and can safely say that I will be back. The service is second to none with a helpful, friendly, skilled team that really do cater to your every whim with complimentary hand and head massages not to mention a free make-up touch up service. Worth every penny and so brilliantly located within Glasgow city center. A must visit!
