Shapes have been my regular hairdresser for decades and there’s a reason why they remain so. They always try to accommodate appointment times, even at short notice. Care and attention is consistently given to each individual customer’s requirements. They are one of the longest serving hairdressers in Portobello and, in my opinion, set the standard for others to meet.
A much needed haircut and blow dry makes me feel tidy again! Trying to grow my hair to all the same length is taking time but Clive keeps me looking less like I have just been dragged through a hedge backwards! Quick efficient service as usual!

I’ve been going to Shapes hairdresser for 4/5 years now and each time they know exactly what I want! There is such a warm, friendly atmosphere and Jade in particular is amazing at dying and cutting my hair, she never rushes and goes out her way to make sure you are happy with the final look. Service, discussion with hairdresser to agree what I wanted was first class as always. Nothing too much trouble. Loyalty card advised product to be received which is a bonus along with discounts at future visits.
I have been coming to Shapes for years and always get a great cut that keeps its shape for weeks. The staff are very personable and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough.
