B really takes the time to get to know what you are looking for and makes recommendations to suit your needs. She ensures you will be happy with the result and keep your hair healthy! She is so fun and charismatic and know all different cuts, crazy colours and styles you never leave without feeling amazing!

Literally the best hairdressers ever!! I started going after Covid wanting to change my bleak damaged hair into colourful madness which was delivered. Jodie and myself instantly got on she made me feel so comfortable and takes on my crazy visions of looking like parrots 🦜 I suggest if you are even thinking about going you should not doubt and get yourself an appointment

jodie was fantastic and talked me through the entire process, as well as gave me extra helpful tips for hair care and colouring. wonderful experience and the staff where all very lovely.

I switched to rock n rose a few years ago now and I’ve honestly never looked back. The coolest, most fun, inclusive, chilled vibes! I go to Jodie and she is amazing, really listens to you and your vision, comes up with fun ideas and she’s so precise! Whether it’s blonde or a crazy colour she always does a great job. Haircuts are always fab too, her expertise really shows :)

Jodie is always great! Her attention to detail and her warmness makes the whole experience a really great one. I would recommend her all the time!

The salon has a wonderful friendly and supportive environment and the skills of all stylists is incredible. I have been going to Jodie for over 2 years now and love my hair transformation every time. She is able to take my rough idea of what I want and produce a fabulous style.

Every time I come to see Jodie it’s like coming to see a friend whom I’ve known forever, kind and chatty with banter for days. I’ve always felt supported and understood when I spoke to Jodie about what I was looking for and never once felt judged or unwelcome - even when my hair had seen much, much better days.
I’ve even recently started bringing my 7 year old daughter in to get her hair done by Jodie and her patience with her is the best. Takes into consideration what my daughter wants, chats to her about what’s going on just like she would a grown up client.. it’s the lushest thing.
I won’t go anywhere but Jodie for my hair now, I’d drive for miles just to come and sit in her chair!

In 36 years of life I've never found anyone better. She really listens to what cut you want and it feels so fresh every time. And such friendly chat!

I have been visiting Rock N Rose for at least 4 years now, and I cannot recommend Jodie highly enough. She fully understands the assignment, not that I’ve had a new colour or style in a long time, but anything I say to Jodie, she executes it flawlessly. Not only do I leave with hair you’re creaming your pants over, but the vibes in the salon are immaculate. In all honesty, the stylists are friends that I get to hang out with once every 5 weeks. I’m not in a super formal environment, it’s relaxed, welcoming, and, overall a good time! I always have some sort of meal with me and it’s no bother to eat it there, I get coffees for the early morning appointments, and Jodie keeps me fed with snacks of the day. So as the title suggests, if you don’t go to Rock n Rose for Jodie to do your hair, get in the bin.

Jodie is the first colourist who actually listened and gave me what I wanted! She cuts brilliantly, and every time I leave the salon I feel a million dollars 💕

Jodie is the definition of perfection - every time I have gone to see her, she has made my hair dreams come true.
She takes her time with consultation, and gives advice based on what you want as an end goal. I have loved every appointment and the results are flawless.

I love when Jodie does my scalp bleach because shes so careful, she doesnt pull at my hair and is very careful there’s never any breakage after we’re done! Im in and out pretty quickly too which is a relief and theres just nothing bad about visiting the salon! She listens and makes sure I get what I want (which is really lovely) and just a relaxed atmosphere!

Been a client of Jodie’s and Rock n Rose for over 4 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The vibes in the salon are always immaculate, all the girls are so fun a kind and you instantly feel like part of the furniture. Jodie is a literal hair wizard, she will take any vision you have and bring it to life but also will not be afraid to tell you if something is not possible or won’t work for you and will help come up with a better plan. She is also an angel of a human.

SUUUPER friendly and approachable. I’ve been box dye black, bleached, went back to black (my hair’s been through it!) for years - and I now have the pleasure of experiencing a beautiful split dye thanks to B! Always a pleasure to nip into Rock n Rose <3

Rock and Rose is a very special place.. The stylists, reception and apprentices are all so friendly, professional and attentive.
You can see they all love what they do, which is amazing I must say!
Jay has been my stylist for a while now, and she is extremely talented and very perceptive, and Just a lovely person!. My hair cut and colour always looks great , I always have a great experience every time.
Would highly recommend, especially if you want something a little different.

I've been getting my hair done by Jay for nearly 5years now and she's amazing as always. Literally had a compliment on my hair within 20min of leaving the salon. I especially appreciate Jay's high standards and I always know that I won't leave the salon until my hair is 100% where it needs to be by the end of the appointment.
The other girls in the salon are always super lovely as well and they're also super talented. Cannot recommend this salon enough and especially Jay and her expertise.

Love this salon, the staff are friendly and professional and they always make you feel so welcome. I have never seen so many talented stylists in one salon. I usually go to Kate who is amazing at cutting and colouring my hair and I would highly recommend her.

I walk by this place every day and always admire the inside. It just has a really nice, welcoming energy. When I finally broke down and admitted I needed a stylist here I figured I’d give it a try. The vibes outside definitely matched the inside. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Jordan was an absolute BABE. I’m one of those people who gets nervous to get a haircut and she really just made me feel so comfortable and really listened to me & explained what she was doing. And I know this isn’t the point but her make up looked so good it was insane. The price was also really nice, I’m used to paying a lot more at other salons because of the thickness and length of my hair. Can’t wait to come back <3

Jay did a fantastic job on my hair a couple of weeks ago! I wanted Pride colours and she gave me stripes in the pride colours. Went down very well for Edinburgh Pride, and I've received lots of compliments since!

I travel from Glasgow every month for the hair I wanted all my life and have only had since Jodie started being my colourist/stylist.

I'm autistic and struggle with lots of noise and over stimulation. In the past I struggled to find a hairdresser that made me feel comfortable. B is absolutely amazing! I have been going to B for a while now

I'm really glad that I've found this salon. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming, and the standard of service is high. I also love that they use Sebastian Dark Oil products, the same ones I use at home. Absolutely recommended!

LOVE!! I was originally going to go for a blonde and brown chunky highlights but due to having bright red hair before we had to result to using a peachier tone. It turned out amazing and I love how it looks!
