Great experience getting my hair cut today, Jordan listened to what I wanted but advised an adjustment to suit my hair thickness and curl. I'm hard to please with haircuts but feel like I left with a style that'll be manageable and right for me. Lovely atmosphere and view too. Highly recommend.

Awesome salon, very chilled atmosphere and super welcoming staff (and dog 🥰) Nicole was excellent and listened to my ideas and guided me through the process, really nice products used and great care and attention to the cut. After flitting about salons for years dreading the experience this is the place!

I've been going to Jodie for a few years now and no matter what style I choose, she always delivers! I've never trusted someone so thoroughly with my hair, I know she'll listen to what I want, tell me what's possible and advise any tweaks to make it work for my current length or hair type, and give me a beautiful hair style at the end.
Plus, Rock n Rose has such a chill atmosphere, everyone's always lovely in there and they play great tunes. What's not to like?

Came in after a badly done home trim and Leigh saved the day and gave me a cut I was so so happy with. Incredibly warm and welcoming salon, I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else again.

Robyn did a wonderful job with my teens haircut. Made her feel comfortable to speak up about what she wanted and took time to listen and understand her needs. We really appreciate that as it's been awhile since shes left a salon happy with the cut! 5 stars thank you :)

Kate, is so creative and patient when doing my hair. She helps guide me in the right direction always getting my hair perfect.

Had the best Haircut by Hannah. My hair is very wavy and I wanted it cut to emphasise more of the curl. I also wanted a curly fringe which I have never tried before. The results were amazing as Hannah really understood what I wanted. I will definitely be back!

This is the most amazing salon and everyone that works here is so lovely. Katelyn is incredible with balayage and as someone who hadn't dyed their hair before, she was so great about explaining the process and what we would be doing and the upkeep. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who asks where to go in Edinburgh for a haircut or for any hair treatments.

I’m honestly happy with how Robyn cut my hair, they are probably the first person who cut it the way I’ve honestly ALWAYS wanted it. They are very chill and not awkward, I felt comfortable with them cutting my hair and all so, I would recommend Robyn to people who want a specific hair cut cause I know dam well with Robyn, they will get what they want want.

I’ve been coming to the salon for a little under a year and it’s always a lovely experience. Excellent background music, super friendly staff and the service is next to none! B is lovely and has done a cracin job each time i’ve been in! Highly recommend as it’s my favourite salon I’ve been too in Scotland!

First time getting my hair bleached here and I can just say my hair has never looked and felt amazing in such long time! Nicole is very professional, the salon has warm atmosphere and everyone is extremely welcoming and lovely! Definitely will be returning :)

As someone who finds going to the hairdressers a daunting experience, Robyn made it as easy as can be for me. I had my hair washed dried and cut by Kate & i had the most amazing experience! She was so attentive when listening to me explain what was wrong with my hair & what I wanted done, and I was so comfortable with her doing what she thought was best for my hair. I would highly recommend this
salon as not only was Kate lovely, so were all the other staff members in store! Will 1000% be back!

I don't usually have Jordan as a stylist but she was amazing. I spoke to her about what I was thinking and she gave me some really good advice on where to go with it and she was exactly right. I love the colours she mixed for me, got the green exactly perfect. She was friendly and professional and did an excellent job.

Hannah is a very professional and knowledgeable stylist. She knows instantly what you mean and is happy to give brilliant advices and to adapt your hairstyle to your face shape/eyes colour etc.

Really lovely experience, was greeted warmly by everyone there. Hannah was great with my little sister (Maisie) who is typically very anxious when it comes to getting her hair cut, but she was put at ease. She is thoroughly pleased with her haircut and will come back again. Great salon!

Kate is the absolute best. After being completely blue, Kate brought my hair back to life with my dream hair. It feels so good and healthy, and has done through the whole experience. Couldn't ask for a better hairdresser. The whole salon staff and environment is just the best.

B was so so lovely, and I felt so safe as she talked through my haircut with me!! (I literally don’t trust anyone with my hair, and yet she did such an amazing job). Atmosphere was so cool and lovely, will be coming back soon!!!

This was my daughters 1st appointment at a hairdressers, being autistic it was a huge deal but she loved every min and shes totally up for coming back . Thanks Jodie for giving Molly such a good experience. She had an awesome day.

Love my new hiar very friendly staff

Jodie was my gal from the first time I spotted her neon green hair through a window on a random stroll years ago. I wouldn't let any other hair stylist as much as breathe in the general direction of my hair at this point. She just gets it, and pulls off bloody miracles with her scissors and colouring skills. Show her the wildest photo of a hairstyle and she will always manage to find a way to make it work for your type of hair. No matter what crazy colouring request I've come with over the past few years, she always found a way to make it work on my pin straight thin hair (I'm sorry for giving you so much trouble over the years Jodie, I love you, I know the bleach baby pink to a dark purple probably broke your heart a lil bit). 10/10 I couldnt recommend another hairdresser or salon more, they're always realistic with the health and condition of your hair, but will find a way to make sure you're leaving that chair happy with the end result, and the banter is top notch. Thank you 🙏✨️

My daughter, Claire recommended Jordan to me after losing my best friend, Mike, also achairdresser of 30 plus years.
To say Jordan is a force of nature does not do her justice. Warm, friendly, full of fun and laughter, who instantly puts you at ease. She is an amazing hairdresser, and gave me a fabulous new hairstyle. I thought my friend was irreplaceable, but how lucky was I to meet Jordan.
