Nice haircut but cost more than expected from online quote. Also, one of a review specified getting a discount for new customer - did not get one.

Once again Peter has given me the perfect cut and colour. A complete change and I love it.

It’s been ages since I’ve had my hair done and went to Lauryn on a recommendation from a friend. Totally love my new hair, such a cliche but I feel like a new woman. Lauryn is nice and just great at what she does! Chloe was also really helpful and nice, a great experience overall.

I had an appointment today, and as always everything was excellent.

This woman did amazing things with the colour of my hair , as she called it “like a patchwork Quilt” lol now like a silk duvet ?

So chuffed! First time in the salon and was well overdue a hair cut. Can't thank Nicola enough, she did such a good job with the mop I walked in with! Feels so much lighter and tidier, just what my hair was needing.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience/cut - just went through a breakup and was in sore need of a makeover. I made an appointment for 11:30 on the same day just a few hours beforehand. Lauryn was very friendly, professional and listened and paid attention to the cut I said I wanted. She also knew how to layer hair properly, and my hair is quite thick so not all stylists have done this well before, but she was an absolute pro! I'm very pleased with how it turned out and have already gotten so many compliments on it from my friends. Will definitely be returning.

Kat has been so great looking after my hair for almost a year now. I have very curly hair. She understood how my hair behaves and gave me the most perfect curly hair cut I’ve ever had. It suits my face and my curls. Kat is also very gentle, and patient and very skilled at what she does.

My hair was so long after lockdown and hadn’t had a cut or colour for 6 months. I explained to Peter what I wanted and he seemed to know. The colour is fabulous and he cut it just as I asked him. I have already put 2 appointments in for next time. Peter is such a charming young man . Thank you so much.

I was very apprehensive about finding a new salon, but I did not need to worry as soon as I was sitting down I felt I had found the right place. I’ve been to loads of salons across Edinburgh as I’ve really struggled to find one that I like and that works for me. This is the first time I’ve been to Medusa and Nicola was great - love my hair and I’ve left with something a bit different on her suggestion which I love! Will definitely be back.

I am very happy with my haircut and colour, and felt confident that given Nicolas experience and knowledge, my expectations were met. Also loved the hints and tips she gave to upkeep my hair, thank you!

Not great service overall. Although the stylist was polite,I think she did not understand how my hair are and what haircut I wanted.I have showed pictures and I try to explain but I am sorry to say that the haircut was not good.Also the service and the overall result does not justify the price.I was expecting to have a little chat with the hairdresser to let me know how I could adjust the haircut that I have shown to her to my face and type of hair.

I like many other people have waited for the day to get my hair done , I just love it . I have tried so many other hairdressers over the years. It was my daughter that got me my first appointment and that was 2 years ago. I have never looked back . Staff are fantastic and friendly, Kat is absolutely brilliant, she listened to the changes I wanted, and explained everything to me . Fantastic x
