Medusa Hair Salon Stockbridge, Edinburgh

I am a full time worker and mother of three who has no time for hair. So I love three glasses of prosecco over an hour, hair colour and Nicola very kindly offered a blow dry. Just really nice people.

Another great visit to Medusa Stockbridge. I'm not in Edinburgh very often, so I always ask for a haircut that will grow out well and last. Really happy with it and also the great extras - amazing head massage, really good cup of tea and the Salty Dog texture spray. Thank you ?

I have booked for balyage and took a picture with me to show what look I was hoping to achieve. Unfortunatelly some how I ended up leaving salon with highlights. I was in hurry that day and did not pay too much attention to finish,but reliesed soon it was not as requested. But I got in touch and they managed to book me for another appointment within couple of days. I was treated the same way as any other customer, they all were lovely and Nicola fixed my hair to the way I initially wanted. I love my hair now and will be going back. I would definitely recommend this place...

While the salon is always full of customers it doesn’t have that hectic atmosphere of many salons.

Peter has transformed my Mother-of-the-Bride hairstyle to include wonderfully subtle tints of turquoise within the original plum along with his usual amazing hair cut. No hat needed!!! Many congratulations to him and Cat on their recent awards. Well done and well deserved.

I have never had a hair dresser that I always return to, but Medusa in Stockbridge is the first. I've been about 5 times and will continue going back.
I normally book my appointments with Kat (a director) who is so easy to talk to. Today I had an appointment with Victoria who was also lovely.
Great atmosphere, everyone is happy and chatting away, nice and clean and a stylish decor with lots of plants.
My hair always feels and looks amazing, I highly recommend medusa Stockbridge.

Lovely Salon. Very welcoming. Had my hair coloured by Kat and blow dried by Victoria. Very pleased with end result. Victoria gave me one of the best blow drys I have ever had.

The most important skill apart from cutting expertise is listening to the customer who knows her hair better than anyone. Combine this with the skill of the hairdresser who understands and is trained to know what is possible and how to achieve it is a winning formula every time and will guarantee a return visit, if that is the aim of the salon.

Having been to same hairdresser for 10 years, circumstances forced a change. Peter at Medusa’s in Stockbridge is simply brilliant with both cut and colour. Third visit & won’t be going anywhere else. One very happy lady!
