Amazing staff and service. High level of attention to details and customer service, from hanging your coat upon entrance to serving water and coffee/tea while serviced. Charlie is fantastic!

I felt my stylist really listened to how I like my hair to be done.

Having some pretty thick and stubbornly straight Asian hair that shows any line you cut into it, I tend to choose a hairdresser and stay loyal once I’ve found someone who can sculpt my locks expertly in each neighbourhood I’ve lived in. Mhairi at Medusa has a wealth of wisdom in how to treat and cut hair of all types and mixed the exact (and unexpected) shades and tones to turn out the warm chestnut colour I was looking for. It’s no mean feat to avoid the tipping point to ginger or simply dark brown with virgin black Asian hair! She can cut a straight line to perfection, or work a stubborn streak into a soft sweep. I highly recommend you book with Mhairi at Medusa!

I have been coming to Charlie at Medusa for a while now. Always a great cut, and relaxed and friendly environment. I would definitely recommend!

I booked my haircut spur of the moment after I had a terrible cut done somewhere else. Amy was kind and laughed about it with me which was exactly what I needed. She was honest about what had to be done and in the end I left with a respectable haircut! I'll probably go back to Amy after today. Used to have another hairdresser at a different Medusa who unfortunately left, so it's nice to find someone else reliable.

I’ve been seeing Lucy for a year or two now having really struggled to find a hairdresser I trusted and liked. She’s great, attentive and thorough, I’m always happy with my hair! Took the plunge to get some colour and I couldn’t be happier!

I have known Charlie for many years, and he has sorted many a disastrous hair colour. I have had either at my own hands, or when I have made a bad decision to go anywhere other than him! He listens carefully understands what needs to be done I have followed him from Salon to Salon, as I have never found anybody as professional, experienced or knowledgeable as him I would 100% recommend him to anybody.

I had a great visit. Mahri was warm and profesional and took care of my concern. She did a fabulous job correcting the colour I had.

I usually stick with Kati at Teviot and thought I would give the new Elm Row salon a try. I’m growing my hair out (Chinese, thick, poker straight and heavy hair) and wanted a freshen up: lighten up, texture, shape and movement without losing length.
