Kym is so patient with me as I decided on a change of style this visit. She offered various options and I am really happy with the result. I always leave the salon feeling I have had a lovely hour spent in a nice relaxed atmosphere with happy and friendly staff. And of course a super haircut each time.

First time visiting Medusa, was really impressed by their service and commitment to making the visit as comfortable as possible given the current restrictions. Will be making this my new salon, Donna did an amazing job and was really helpful throughout my appointment.

Always feel comfortable with Donna, does a great haircut that still holds its shape while growing until my next visit.

I wouldn’t go to any other salon - I always leave looking and feeling better than when I walked in... and have absolutely loved getting into edgier colours and styles.... with the advice and expertise to tailor to my look, colouring and lifestyle.

Andrew is great at my cut & colour. Very happy warm friendly and let’s me no what’s happing with my hair.

After moving away I haven’t seen Craig for a couple of years. Driven by frustration (limp lacklustre hair) I decoded to book an appointment with Craig….. He identified the issues which were making my hair seem hopeless and his colouring of my hair is nothing short of proper artistry. I cannot recommend Medusa highly enough. I will be back…. Regularly!

Kym has looked after my golden locks for a number of years, I wouldn't let anyone else touch them as she is quite simply the best!

Had such a nice haircut with Andrew! He did a great job with cutting and shaping my layers so that my hair can continue to grow out healthy. He was lovely to chat with as well.

The receptionist was also so welcoming and kind — so sorry to have forgotten their name!

The salon overall seemed super clean and they wipe down the chair/station in front of you before you sit down so you can see they’re being cautious and safe. All the staff had masks on as well.

Excited to come back in a few weeks for another fringe trim :)

Kym listens to what I think I would like and then makes suggestions and after discussion agree on final style.
Have been a client for a number of years and she knows what I like, knows my hair and able to style my hair appropriately.

The fantastic reviews online made me select this salon for my first haircut post lockdown. However, after washing my hair at home it became apparent there were issues with the cut. The front sections near my face were very blocky. The salon was able to book me in the same day I called and had another stylist make adjustments. It could only be amended by so much and it is not the final result I was looking for but am thankful for being fit in for an appointment so quickly.

Fabulous experience overall: great haircut, great rapport with Andrew, who listens and advises, styles hair according to individual requirements, remembers what was asked from him since last appointment; smooth appointment and service by other staff too (helpful, relaxed, attentive). Appointment felt easy and relaxed, and at a professional level.

Andrew was lovely very polite and kind . My hair is amazing I can't believe how lovely it looks it's like I have gorgeous blond hair thick and beautiful even though it does need dying again. I will be going bavk to Andrew at Medusa for my colour next week. I felt safe and welcome and had an amazing head massage from theyoung lady who washed my hair. It's been ages since I have been to hairdressers and it was amazing thank you Andrew. Sarah

Great experience as always, love my hair

I had a cut and blow dry with Andrew yesterday. Decided to go for a bit of a change, and he couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. Really got to know me, my style and my hair and adjusted my requests to a new style that works best for me. Would really recommend!

So this was my first time back to the salon since Christmas 2020 and my god I feel amazing! Craig is always my go to man for anything hair wise! I never leave the salon unhappy without fail and he always goes over and above. Twice I’ve said to him to surprise me with my hair colour and both times I’ve been delighted.

The salon is super clean and tidy during these weird times were in and the staff are always making sure everything is sanitised after and throughout use.

Love the haircut Donna gave me. All the staff were efficient and professional. The salon had a really relaxed atmosphere and the staff clearly care about their customer's needs. I'm so happy with my haircut, will 100% be back again.

Andrew is an absolute artist. He made an amazing job of my cut and colour correction. Can't wait to come back

I've lived in Edinburgh for over 15 years and never had a regular hairdresser but I've finally found the one. Hands down the best experience I've ever had in a salon. Craig was brilliant, he gave me great advice, a perfect cut and I've never felt so pampered ☺️ booked my next appointment before leaving. Can't recommend highly enough thank you x
