I first came to Phillip Lee after a disaster of hair dye appointment at another local salon. My dye was corrected by Cary’s and first cut was with Louise it was brilliant and straight away noticed the attention to detail and appreciated the in-depth explanation of why my hair went ginger at previous salon. This was early 2024 and I’ve been back for regular appointments solely with Cary’s since then. I’m not a chatty person but Cary’s makes me feel comfortable everytime. She’s a lovely girl and an amazing hairdresser. Everytime she does my hair I love it, and she must have done my hair 10+ times now (Dye and Cut).

I was invited in to take part in a Wella training afternoon, where a straightening product was placed on my hair which is wavy, coarse and dry in places.
The whole afternoon was lovely and I learnt things as well.
The new Wella product is amazing, my hair is so smooth and straight, I am looking forward to seeing how long it lasts ( suggested 12 weeks or approx 50 washes) but it is something I will definitely consider adding to my hair routine.

First time coming to this salon and had a fantastic experience! I was nervous about getting my hair done after having jaw surgery but all staff members were so thoughtful, caring and careful. Carys seemed to know exactly what I needed. My hair was too thick and long on the sides making too flat. She cut and thinned and reshaped my bob. Colour was perfect too.

Decided this morning that I needed some tlc and so booked in with Carys fr a 4.30 appointment.
The weather was wet and wild outside but cosy and warm in the salon. I was free and treated to a lovely hot chocolate whilst waiting for Carys to finish her previous client.
I was in desperate need of a decent cut and Carys didn’t disappoint.
She talked me through every step, every product and gave me choices throughout the cut.

So I’m an exhausted mum of twin toddlers and had blonde, broken, brassy hair. I do not get the time to look after me! I needed something more manageable and natural. I told Abi I’d like to go darker too & she recommended a balayage look. I COULD NOT be HAPPIER! It is stunning. I cannot believe it’s me. It looks so natural and soo healthy. I brought my grandaughter in for a correctional cut with Kelly.
She has thick curly hair.
Kelly first asked how she wears her hair curly or straight as that would decide how the curls would be cut.
Once decided Kelly talked her through each stage advising on the best option to even up the hair.
Once cut Kelly enhanced the curls with products before diffusing.
Kelly is a lovely person and stylist and a credit to the salon.
