Magdalena takes notice of hair cut requirements for me and has created a good style for me.

I felt confident that my hair would be safe with Laura from the start, I know that sounds silly but my hair is important to me. It was just shy of my bum when I went in for my cut/colour. I showed her photos & we looked through the colour chart, she picked colours based on what I was drawn to. It was clear she wanted to keep my hair in the best condition possible, particularly as my hair was virgin hair after not colouring it for 5yrs, so she recommended semi-permanent colours. It came out beyond incredible, she mixed the perfect colours & toned the blonde to a gorgeous caramel colour. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She’s passionate about hair & was excited for the end result. For the cut she put a fringe in, layers in the front & thinned out some of my hair to make it easier for me to dry. It’s the best cut/colour I’ve ever had, with the best stylist I’ve ever had. I have the most beautiful balayage, which is blended to perfection. Can’t thank her enough for not just taking such good care of my hair, but for making it so beautiful too.
As for the actual salon, they’re a wonderful bunch of people; friendly & caring. The salon is great for wheelchairs; lots of space inside, which is fab as I find most salons either inaccessible or hard to navigate. Usually they’re so small my wheelchair is often in the way or I struggle to keep it next to me/somewhere near making it difficult to relax as I have to keep an eye out in case my wheelchair needs moving, I often end up having to walk to the sinks & back which causes pain. I found T&G really easy to get around, lots of space on the shop-floor so my wheelchair was left next to me & wasn’t in the way. I was able to wheel over to sinks with ease. I’d never found a salon that I could use the bathroom in prior to visiting T&G, their bathroom is wheelchair accessible (keep in mind there’s no grab rails so you may have to hold onto the sink to transfer over to the toilet) which is great. I had such a great experience, I’d recommend T&G. I’ll definitely be back soon!

What a totally wonderful experience! I was so nervous about finding a new hairdresser but I was made to feel so comfortable as soon as I arrived! More than one stylist involved. All, including the lass who washed my hair, worked well together to give me an excellent cut and colour. It was also fun.

Friendly, welcoming salon. The boss (Magdalena??) gave me a brief consultation to find out what I wanted, and showed me the hair colour sample she recommended (no ammonia, great!). I had asked for ‘root’ cover, but she did my whole head. Hair cut by friendly Hitomi, cut shorter than I expected but am happy with the cut, as my hair grows quickly. Friendly if noisy chatter! (must be the acoustics!).

Magdalena and the team are the loveliest bunch ever! Always feel super looked after. I never used to go to a proper hair salon and this was my 3rd time and I can easily say every single time I’ve come out astonished with amazing hair, (considering I used to box dye it dark brown/black!) my hair looks and feels fabulous. Magdalena and the team are all very talented at what they do.

As always all members of staff were very friendly and helpful. One had a very difficult client but was very calm and patient dealing with their request. Ania was very helpful dealing with my very fine flyaway hair, I love my haircut.
