Had my hair cut for the first time at CHOP today and it was a lovely experience. My hairdresser, Georgina, was great, extremely professional, chatty and gave great advice along with a hair cut I was extremely happy with! Along with this I paid a great price being a student which was what had drawn me in in the first place. Lovely, clean and having very short hair I felt much more comfortable in the hands of a hairdresser used to dealing with men and short hair clients. Thank you very much, I'll be back again soon :)

Overall not bad

Myself And my hetro life partner decided to get a trim in preparation for the weekend and we were delighted with the results! Free beer, top banter and hot new looks! The cuts were so good it was like being in a lynx deodorant advert! Women began to literally throw themselves at us...one elderly lady went under a bus but she seemed to have had a good innings! Overall top stuff highly recommended!!

You guys never fail to impress. Rocked up at lunch with an hour window and had a very friendly young lady cut off a huge mop of hair. Exactly what I wanted and I will be returning again. Cheers choppers!

Great location in the city centre, and a cool setting with comfy sofas and nice decor. Had a good re-style and I really like the hair products they use. Friendly and chatty too!

I was worried first of all about my cut, as I have naturally curly hair and a lot of salons do not understand how to cut it, but I must say that Georgina was fantastic, and did a lush cut and got some shape to my "mop".
I will 100% be going back for again and getting some colour and another cut at Chop!
Also loved the atmosphere as it was so relaxing and all the staff were very friendly!

Tony was great as usual, ive been going about 3 years now and it is a great place.

I moved to Bristol over four years ago and was recommended Chops by a friend. Since then I've never felt any need to even try another hairdressers. Every stylist I have had since going there has been professional, approachable and I have never had a bad cut.

The prices are very reasonable, they have a little sweet tray by the counter which I think is a lovely touch and I will continue to suggest Chops to anyone looking for a good cut.

I've always been a huge fan of Chop. Everytime I've been there they've particularly talented and experienced enough to understand the just of what you'd like done to your hair and are incredible open and happy to retouch if required. Erin is a fantastic hairdresser!

Good standard of hair cut - normally have a trim by a family member so nice to go to a salon to have it done. Hair dresser knowledgeable and happy to give her opinion without changing what I wanted. She was very nice and put me at ease - no awkward conversation, so good people skills!

Erin cut my hair today during my lunch break and it was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and was really patient with me. My appointment was on time and great value. Very satisfied and i will be going back.

Always book in to have Tony do my hair. He always cuts it exactly how I ask and everybody at Chop is extremely friendly. I won't go anywhere else to get my hair cut that's for sure!

First visit to the salon, and booked in last minute. Both staff are very welcoming and offered drinks to me and my friend. Georgina was amazing! She had me laughing and did a brilliant job with my hair! I got a short on the sides and had the top textured. Came out better than I'd hoped!

Being an Indian guy getting a haircut in the uk can be confusing at times. Number 3, 4 or 5 what in the world are all these numbers?
We are used to a simple instructions like small...medium or very small or may be the occasional spiked-up hair for the more adventurous type.
Matt is the guy you go to if you're as confused as I was.I just told him what I told every barber shop back in India.
What he did was spot on! I might go back next time and try something more adventurous...Definitely coming back !

Everything was sick, nothing but praise. I tried to click 5* for everything but my phone is being annoying.

First time at Chop as I have just moved to Bristol and have only tried Harry Blades before (didn't have any slots available). My hairdresser, Mike I think, was welcoming and guided me on styling where I know virtually nothing. Great hair cut and an asset to your salon/barbers.

Amazing stylist, defiantly knew what to do when it came down to what I wanted. Couldn't have asked for a nicer cut. Felt very welcomed and will be back soon for another cut! :)

My hair got messed up by an awful barber elsewhere in the city, only went in to get it fixed up but came out even happier with what I got. Much better styling knowledge for men than many hairdressers I've been to.
