I always dread haircuts as the atmosphere can often feel judgmental or intense however my experience here was the exact opposite. I had long, un shaped and as I liked to describe “hagrid-esque” hair down to my hips that had become more of a burden than an asset, my stylist was incredible, she understood my anxieties around haircuts and explained everything as we went, the confidence and weight off my shoulders I felt when we were finished was immeasurable, I can genuinely say I’ve never felt so great about a haircut! Definitely coming back and would highly recommend to anyone!

She did an amazing transformation from messy home dyed covid hair to a vibrant orange undercut

Great cut and colour by Ella - she was really helpful and was able to suggest a colour for me which I love! Ella also cut my fringe exactly how I wanted, despite me not explaining myself very well! Overall I am so happy with my trip to Barber Brown, and I can’t wait until the next time! Thank you Ella ?

Just what I needed

Hayley did a brilliant job on my hair, checking in with exactly what I wanted.

Haven’t had a hair cut in nearly a year (bad I know) - Was welcomed into the salon and was able to talk through what I wanted/ how I liked it styled and so on. Ella was wonderful she really listened and did an amazing job! I am so happy to have my natural bounce back in my hair.

Rhian was wonderful! Usually wax at home, but always end up with terrible bruising around my bikini line as I can never get to those hard to reach places. Rhian was the perfect mix of professional and personable, had a good giggle and she made me feel so comfortable. Got exactly what I asked for and couldn't be happier. Will be making this a regular appointment. Thanks, Rhian! Xxx

I got my eyelashes and eyebrows tinted with Rhian and I am so happy with the result! This was my first time getting a treatment like this, and Rhia was great explaining at what she was going to do and the colours she was using etc. I will certainly be going back, and look forward to getting more beauty treatments done with Rhian!

I had my hair cut and coloured by Mark and it was fantastic! Mark was great in helping choose a colour that would both suit me and help me reach my goals of maybe going a bit lighter one day. The cut I got was also amazing - I am so happy with my hair now, and I will definitely be sticking with Barber Brown! Definitely the best hairdressers I have been to in Bristol - I would highly recommend paying them a visit!

After years of not finding a salon where I feel comfortable this is the one! I was nervous to come back after lockdown but Jess and the team were great at putting me at ease even before going in with helpful posts on Instagram and easy booking online. As usual I felt every confidence in the skills for my hair cut and wasn’t disappointed. Things where running a little late but I felt welcome and didn’t mind.
