Bravo Hairdressing in Newbury

Me and my sister had our hair wash cut and blow dry today by Aidan and Jo, the services was brilliant! Aidan was a young lad but his customer service was friendly and polite and Jo was a bubbly easy to talk to lady. We feel like my women and will definitely be using them again. I live in Wokingham but I will make the journey to Newbury for my cut in future. Thank you so much you too, strongly recommend xx

Newbury has a large number of hairdressers so when looking for a new place to get my hair cut, there was plenty of choice. Fortunately that choice was made simple when I stumbled across Bravo. It was clear from the website, the loyalty offers, the humorous blog and the raving customer reviews that this was a different type of hairdressing salon and one that I needed to try.

I booked an appointment online (so simple!) with Jo under the new client package (very good value offer that bundled my first cut and finish, with the choice of a free hair product to take home, a conditioning treatment, an envelope full of vouchers to use for future visits and some free product samples to try at home!).

From the salon's retro kitsch decor, to Jo's excellent hair advice, to the precision cut and faultless blow dry, to the head massage and conditioning treatment - it all added up to the best hair salon experience I've ever had. Bravo lived up to all the reviews and I will be very happily ret

I have been a customer since Scott and Phil opened their salon in cheap street, I am always made to feel welcome and they make me laugh always happy staff. I must drive them mad sometimes, but they always give great advice and customer service,wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks guys.

Ive been using Bravo for about a year and just have the most amazing experience every time. They've supported and encouraged me to try new things which always look amazing and work well for me. They're friendy, funny and I always feel they've gone the extra mile for me. Now the whole family gets their hair cut at Bravo and enjoy the same expedience I do every time I go. Highly recommend everyone at Bravo but if your purse allows, definitely have a cut with Scott, the owner and manager.

An amazing haircut by Scott. Even 3 weeks on, it brings out my natural white streak as a highlight and I've had lots of compliments. Service was as always excellent, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair.

I've been going to Julia at Bravo since I moved to Newbury a couple of years ago and I can't imagine having my hair cut by anyone else. She always does a brilliant job, listens to what I want and makes great suggestions. We always have a good natter when I'm there too and no matter how stressed or fed up I am when I go in, I leave feeling happy and chilled out. I'm growing my hair out at the moment and so I don't get to go and have it done as often as I'd like but when I do, my hair always looks fab.

Just love this salon, it's a real treat visiting for a colour as the atmosphere is just so relaxed. Six happy years here and yesterday Sarah was superb .... my full head foils were a real success. Definitely the BEST salon in Newbury!!

I visited Bravo today for the first time using a voucher for a haircut with conditioning treatment and also booked a half head high lights. I was welcomed by Kate who instantly made me feel at ease and continually checked I was ok. My high lights were done quickly and the result is such an amazing shade of blonde; I can't stop looking at it! I also went for a new style of haircut, having shown Kate a photo and she totally nailed it! Along with a wonderful head massage, luxury conditioning treatment and a couple of well timed cuppas, I am delighted with the service of the salon and if course the result! I will be recommending to family and friends and look forward to a future visit! Thank you Kate and Bravo!

Absolutely lovely experience!

I last went to Bravo probably 6 months ago. My hair was long...very long...and very damaged! But my stylist Julia worked her magic on it and made it look and feel amazing. She even used some Nioxin on it which they have in salon Feb and it smells divine! Waiting to see the results of it as it gets to work! Thank you Bravo for rescuing my mop of hair and so quickly too! I really shouldn't leave it 6 months before I go back again!

First return to Bravo after a long absence. Very pleased with consultation which demonstrated quick understanding of how my hair is and what I wanted to achieve. I had an appt. with Jo but Scott stepped in as Jo was ill (no extra charge to me). He was great - cut just as I wanted and gave me good, practical advice. Several people have said how great my hair looks.

Perfect service as always

This salon is very professionally run by well trained people who work with passion. You are made feel welcome and trated well in all respects. The results of my colour and cut were noticed by friends who never mentioned my hair before. One of them being the way it was cut just made it look like it couldn't fall out of place (i hadn't done anything to it that day). The more senior the staff member, the better the results. Overall this is a very good reliable salon that is a real pleasure to go to. Cannot reccomend enough. By the way i found the salon as i saw my colleague who always had fabulous hair and asked where she went... Bravo!

I was a bit wary trying somewhere new, especially as I didn't really know much I wanted cut off my long hair. The welcome from Scott made me feel at ease straightaway. After discussing my previous hair styles with Jo, she was happy to recommend a style and length to suit me. The service was great and the cups of tea were a lovely touch. I hate having my hair cut. It's stressful and never ends up as I want it. Until Jo started cutting it. I couldn't be happier with the cuts she gives, the service generally and the salon as a whole. Highly recommend!

Dull January weather is the perfect time to have your hair coloured! I decided last night to get it done and booked the appointment for today online. So easy!

The stylist (Kate) really got to know my requirement and took her time. Aidan then stepped in with a great head massage and did one of the best blow dries ever! Oh and a double espresso and smarties really helped too! :)

There are so many times, when visiting other salons, that I've felt like I'm causing an inconvenience, have barely been spoken to by the staff, or have left unhappy. Having visited Jo at Bravo twice in the last few weeks, I've left incredibly happy each time - she's friendly, really listens to what you ask for, and makes great suggestions on how to make your hair look better.

The salon itself is clean and modern, with a lovely relaxed ambience- perfect for having your hair done! The products are lovely, but you don't feel pressured into purchasing them, and the refreshments are great - who doesn't like Smarties?!
