My daughter had her first salon experience today, and it was lovely. All the staff were very nice and professional. The salon is very stylish and clean. Sharon did a great job with my daughter's hair.

I brought my 9 year old to Josey today to cut her long hair up into a jaw length bob. My little one was so eager for a big impact haircut but I was nervous as her hair is very thick. But my goodness I needn’t have been. The skill and professionalism at this salon is beyond anything I’ve ever seen! I am so incredibly impressed and my daughter has been twirling and smiling ever since. It is exactly how she had envisioned it. I noticed in the salon the tagline “we listen” and anyone reading this can rest assured that isn’t an exaggeration, they really do listen , and have the skills to make your dream hairstyle a reality! Today was my first time at the salon and I was sceptical as I wanted a change to my haircut but have really short hair so thought my options were limited. Kiera was brilliant. Kiera listened to my ideas, heard my concerns and came up with a quirky funky new style that I love. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Thanks so much Kiera.

First time to visit the salon and I am excited already for my return visit. Had my hair re-styled by the lovely Josey who was extremely patient with me as we decided on the perfect haircut for my hair texture and the shape of my face.

I had an brilliant curly blow dry with Josey ... Great shape and held extremely well. Such a lovely girl and makes you feel very comfortable.

I have a wonderful experience last week. My Stylist was Vicky and she is wonderful. She took time to consult and really listened to my likes and dislikes and understood where I was coming from. You just want someone to 'get' you & Vicky did. At no time did I feel rushed or clock watching.
I love my hair. It's exactly what I wanted even though I never really know what I want ! I am back next week for colour & can't wait

Kiera has worked a miracle on my hair, its coarse and resistent to colour but the colour and condition is now fantastic, I am happier than I have been for a long time. She listened to me and knew exactly what I needed. Thank you Kiera you are brilliant!

Got a lovely cut on Fri last by the beautiful Siobhan. While Siobhan wouldn’t be used to doing my hair, she listened to my needs, gave her own opinion & the finished product is just what I wanted & needed. She was assisted by Kim who I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to ?. Lovely experience once again in salon. Oh & I forgot to mention that Patrick himself is gifted not only with a scissors but also with a sweeping brush!!!

From start to finish it truly was a great experience. At the salon they pay attention to detail - from the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave. It was my first time at the salon and Kiera was great - giving advice s as out what she thought but taking my input on board too. I would highly recommend this salon.

Thank you to Josey, Peter and Arlene for the most enjoyable Salon experience. While I love having my hair done I don’t generally enjoy the in the hairdressers part but I enjoyed every minute of my appointment. Everyone is friendly and helpful and Josey took the time to sit with me before doing anything and listen to what issues I had with my hair and what I wanted. While I was there I was able to arrange beauty treatments with Arlene who also took the time to listen to what I wanted and was very helpful and informed. It can be very hard for a former natural blonde to get the right shade of blonde that isn’t too bright or harsh against your skin but is still light and Josey absolutely nailed it. It is the best colour I have had in a long long time. Josey also took time cutting my hair and asked while she went what I thought and if I was happy and offered suggestions. Peter helped with my colour and they were both so lovely and easy to talk to. I have moved home from Dublin and in my time there I have used some of the big name Salons. The Patrick Gildea experience is second to none and far surpasses any Salon experience or hair outcome I have had before. I am delighted with my hair and with the relaxing Saturday afternoon I spent there. The Salon itself is amazing, everything is pretty and the chair beds in the wash area are so comfortable. I highly recommend.

Vicky never disappoints. I haven't been in the salon for so long now but Vicky still remembered how I like things done. A top class stylist with great insight into what looks good. She takes the time to sit down with you and discusses what you need. I'm very happy with the results of my cut and blow dry. Everyone in the salon are friendly and cheerful and their is a lovely atmosphere in the salon. And not forgetting the very comfy bed/seats for washing your hair ?

Today was the first time I’d had Josey to Colour & Cut my hair. I was absolutely delighted with the end result & would highly recommend this stylist. The whole of Gildea’s service is faultless. Also, as someone who suffers from pain due to an old upper back/neck injury, I was so pleased to experience their new fully reclining chairs for hair washing. What a great idea.

Today was my first visit and I can’t wait to go back. When I arrived, as I was a new client, Carla gave me a tour of the salon then settled me in my seat. Then I had my consultation with my stylist Siobhan. I felt really heard and understood, which is not something I’ve experienced at other salons.
Peter then washed my hair and gave me a wonderful relaxing scrub and head massage.
Siobhan gave me a beautiful hair cut - exactly what I wanted - and a really lovely curly blow dry.
I will definitely be back again as soon as I can!
