I was only in for a blow dry as I was attending a family wedding at Rathmullen. It was honestly the best experience. The salon and the attention to detail was amazing. For just a blow dry Sharon sat with me to discuss my hair and tailored the shampoo to suit my hair. I left wishing I lived closer!

Vicky is by far, the most talented and accomplished hairdresser I have had the pleasure to meet. She is always polite, positive, attentive and scrupulous about details, making sure your happy with every stage of her cut/style. I always leave the salon feeling happy.

I have been going to Zeljana for while now and there’s no doubt she is incredibly gifted in what she does. The attention to detail, providing her professional advice and explaining each step made me feel comfortable. First I have to note that I hadn't been to any salon since before COVID. I just took a notion one day to get a wolf cut, so I started checking who could do them (and actually had experience with edgy cuts) locally. I had had experiences in the past where I asked for something specific at a salon here and was told they absolutely had the experience, but then left really disappointed and sometimes cried in the car because it looked so bad lol.
So I was a little nervous, but when I started looking at Patrick Gildea's social media, I could tell that there were definitely stylists who could walk the walk.
Zeljana was amazing! She listened and was honest the whole way through, and gave the best scalp massage I've ever had. The whole experience was super relaxing and chill. And the cut! Omg, I'm in love and get tons of compliments. It actually gets better everyday. It's exactly what I asked for and actually looks like all the wolf cuts I had been looking at as inspiration. I don't think I've ever been happier with a hairstyle. And that's really down to the expertise of Zeljana. All the staff were lovely and welcoming and it was just a great experience from start to finish. 😍

Fabulous experience from consultation to colour, highlights and styling. Great advice regarding duration of tranistion with a focus on scalp and hair health. Surpassed all my expectations. If you want to add something to self-care, this is it.

Another great cut and curly blow-dry. The G massage and hair treatment makes it so relaxing and hair in such great condition afterwards. Siobhan is friendly and very skilled and always very happy with my hair cut and style.

When I moved over from Essex I needed to find a fantastic hairdresser and in Sharon I did. I’ve now visited Sharon 3 times and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Today was my first appointment ever in PG and it was way beyond my expectations, from the reception, hair washing to Anita my stylist everything was outstanding. It was so professional as well as being warm and welcoming, loved it, looking forward to returning ❤️

My mum just finished her treatment and her son is getting married in two weeks,she was very stressed about her hair. Patrick took us in and explained everything and fitted her with a wig that he styled identical to her own hair. He was so thorough and made sure she was happy with every part of it and she left feeling like a new woman with her hair. Exceptional service from all staff and such kindness and compassion shown to people that are feeling very vulnerable.

This was my first appointment with this salon. My hair had been thinning and it was very stressful, my confidence had gone .
Patrick provided a consultation and recommendations of products that may help . He cut my hair so that it looked and felt so much healthier and thicker. For the first time in months I felt confident. The cut is easy to maintain and manageable at home and the products are really helping with volume. I can’t thank Patrick and the team enough. Highly recommended.

Have enjoyed my visit and am very pleased with how the haircut turned out. I showed Zeljana what I had in mind, she then tailored the cut to suit my hair type and face shape. She also showed me different ways to style it. I love her positive and encouraging energy, it's inspiring to see someone so passionate about their work.
The whole team at the salon is incredible - so innovative and always mindful of their clients' needs. They clearly take pride in doing great work.

Great care and delighted with outcome

I went to Laura for a radical change of hair colour and I wasn't disappointed. I love my new colour and the haircut was great as well. She talked me through every step and made me feel comfortable. She was clear about the road ahead in regards to colour correction and the upkeep of the style. The staff and owner were very friendly. I can't recommend them enough. Safe to say I've found my future hairdressers :).

I’ve only recently returned to the Salon after many years away and I don’t think I’ll ever leave again. To know that you can speak freely about your hair and be listened to and this be reciprocated by the stylist,makes the whole experience very comfortable and natural. A lot of businesses talk about staff being the heart of what they do but,few rarely show this. You feel it within the salon and that’s a credit to all involved. It’s a great treat and one I really look forward to. Siobhan is top class and makes you feel at home. Thank you everyone and keep it up.
