Edward & Co is run by Gary Taylor, one of the leading hairdressers in the North of England. Gary has been nominated for the British Hairdressing Awards 6 times 2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2018 and on two occasions winning the title 2012 and 2015. He also has many National and International Awards under his belt.
We have a highly experienced team covering every aspect of hairdressing.

Every single colleague in the salon takes time out to say hello, very welcoming. Also there was an event in the town centre, and they called me beforehand to warn that parking would be a problem. So thoughtful! Great haircut and experience with Jo.

Today’s appointment was for my annual Perm.
My usually fine straight hair was transformed into multiple curls giving it lift and body. I now have the option to straighten or scrunch it.
Thanks to Laura’s expertise this will last for months.

I've been a couple of times now for a full head of copper and I've absolutely loved it each time!! Cacie, you can see is very dedicated to her work and makes sure its always finished to a high standard. Also cut my little girls hair and again it were done to perfection. Came into the salon today having not visited the hairdressers for approx 15-18 years- Jo was amazing and my hair looks amazing- colour is spot on.
Advice was perfect answered all my questions and consulted and communicated with me throughout.
It will be a regular thing now put me as ease completely.
Also. Have an unusual allergy and the salon checked all products used on me would not be an issue prior to the appointment so this was also amazing thanks ☺️

After moving home and the stress that goes with it, I visited Edward & Co to have my hair coloured, highlighted and cut. Phoebe was recommended to me and I wasn’t disappointed. What a transformation, once Phoebe had worked her magic. What was strawy blonde hair was now beautifully blended soft brown and blonde highlighted hair looking in beautiful condition. The cut really defined the shape of my face and I felt all my self confidence come rushing back. Phoebe is clearly a colour expert and knew exactly which colours would suit my skin tone.
