This was my first visit to the salon. Jackie was very knowledgeable and experienced. She took care, was very informative and gave me lots of advice without being pushy. I am thrilled with my colour and cut and will definitely be back. And I even had a glass of wine.!
First time with Emma and she was great . Listen to my concerns about my hair and cut hair according once style agreed
A very cheerful , gentle and relaxed first appointment. Emma was willing to give a proffessional view of what was possible and what would suit my existing colour . The result was a little to Silvered for me so Emma without fuss ammended and toned to a beautiful shade that i am delighted with . The lightest "dusting" a mini trim as i told her i was trying yo get more length for a summer event 2027. Altogether a very lovely experience . Emma many thanks Christine .5 stars.

My second time with Rachel, after a while trying to find a hairdresser following my move to Stirling. She's been so friendly and welcoming both visits, and has taken time to chat about style and cutting ideas. She has cut my short hair brilliantly on both occasions, having quickly understood how I like it. Lovely cut, which grew out well between visits.

I can't recommend Frances Hunter highly enough. The salon is smart, stylish and always spotless, with delicious coffee and Prosecco for a celebration.
However, what makes the salon is the staff. They are all completely fabulous. Smart, kind, professional and always extremely accommodating.
Gary Hunter is supreme! He is the most talented, intelligent and gifted hairdresser I have ever met. He had transformed my life and I don't say that lightly. No more dowdy bob, a real transformation which has given me confidence and joy!
His beautiful wife Elaine keeps everything running like clockwork. She is the most elegant, stylish woman with the kindest heart.
Nothing is ever to much trouble at France's Hunter. After a while they feel like family and always meet you with the warmest welcome.
We are so lucky to have a salon of this calibre in Stirling.

From the moment I stepped through the doors I felt I'd found the right place. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
They explained I would have a consultation with Gary first as a new Client, this left me totally confident I was in the right hands. I thoroughly enjoy Lyn doing my hair. She always consults on what I am looking to achieve. Advising on what she feels would be best.
I do however feel the Salon prices keep increasing. Over my last three visits there has been an increase each time. I understand a yearly increase but each time seems to be a bit much. I hope this is acknowledged.
The staff in the salon are all friendly and chatty with the girls all helping one another out.
I love my new hair but remember my hair still thin & grow so slowing. I wish that you never took teeth scissor. I don’t have thick hair anymore. No worry! 🫢

Lauren was amazing, listened to every word I said and took her time! The interactions between all the staff make such a good atmosphere, you can tell everyone loves that they do!
Gary always goes above and beyond for his clients. He takes the time to talk you through what you want and makes sure he gets to know you well enough to know what you need. I don't like to spend time on my hair every day so he always recommends cuts where I don't need to, and will always talk me through ways to style it if I choose to. Everyone there is always really friendly and welcoming and you are always well looked after. Thanks again Gary!

I had extremely long hair and decided to donate it, this salon is listed on the little princess trust website, and they were fully capable of sectioning my hair correctly and prepping it for donation. I had a great time and ended up with a long bob length. Lyn was great for styling recommendations and cut/styled it brilliantly. Really happy with the results.
