yesterday i went for a haircut to get a blunt cut short hair style (just above shoulder length) with NO layers. i have walked out with a styled bob with layers (that i did not ask for, and that are simply wonky and badly done, with strikingly different lengths from the back to the front of my hair) and a fringe that i NEVER asked for. I’m deeply hurt, upset and embarrassed. Not only is this not the haircut that i showed pictures of (exact photos of what i wanted) but it is simply badly done and poorly executed. I will never be returning to a tony and guy again, and am terrified to return to a hairdressers in general. I understand giving a client professional advice, so as to help influence certain opinions on a haircut, but to take ownership of someone else’s hair and going’s against what was asked is completely wrong and out of order. There are noticeable parts of my hair that are at least one inch longer than the rest of my hair, and there is NOTHING blunt about the bizarre nature of this cut, which is uneven and extremely wonky. I don’t want to leave my house or walk in public, and, as much as i don’t want to repeat myself but I fear my point truly has to be laboured here: I feel embarrassed and my self confidence has been completely destroyed by this haircut. I have formally complained as well.
