The stylists are all great and they are always very friendly however there is a real issue with them overbooking appointments meaning you are never taken at the time your appointment is for and your hair often takes a long time to get done as the stylist is busy squeezing in yet another client. Even with the overbooking policy it is still extremely difficult to get an appointment so be organised and book a few weeks in advance. Prices are also pretty steep, the "extras" of a "free" bar and a coffee machine could be done away with to reduce the cost. It's quite a loud, vibrant atmosphere so usually not all that relaxing if you want a bit of peace and quiet when getting your hair done.

We are very grateful you took the time to provide feedback on your experience with us and i'd like to take the time to address your points. Firstly, and very openly, we do not operate an overbooking policy. We always consult properly and give enough time to each client for what they are booked in for, however as i'm sure you will understand, when you are working with clients doing what we do, not everything goes to plan. Clients can decide to change their mind on the colour they originally chose and other technical issues can arise, we always try to respond to these situations as best as we can and we choose never to say no to anyone, unless we have absolutely no choice. These situations can sometimes lead to stylists running behind. We have been running since 2010 and value for money as well as providing an excellent service has always been and always will be very important to us. The reason we offer the extras that we do is that coming to 1302 is about an experience and not just the hair cut. Also our team are all very experienced stylists and like any profession you have to pay to get the experience you require. There are other salons that charge less than what we do, however we do not consider 1302 to be under the umbrella of just another salon offering what everyone else does. Therefore our prices are reflective of the service we offer, and knowing what we do about our industry and the opinions of our client base we feel that our prices are extremely fair. Atmosphere again is a personal thing, and we promote the lively atmosphere that is always present in our salon. Quiet, uninspiring and lifeless salons is not a environment we want to ever be part of. If you decide to come back then please say that you would like a quiet spot and we can accommodate this for you willingly. We did see that you were vary happy with the final result and that is great.
