Let me start by saying I am not a review person, if I like a place I keep on going if I don't like it I am not (obviously unless necessary)
Hob Salons are not the most economical and for many things is a "normal" salon... music, decor etc nothing to scream unique in the world...
However there is a lovely gentleman with funky blue hair greeting you when you arrive and being so so nice and helpful (even makes you a cup of tea!).
And yesterday I met Francesca. Now I went in with the itch of I cut off all my hair as they were unmanageable and listened to me and my habits and possibly she realised I would not be able to style that haircut and advised me in a much more reasonable haircut for me.
We talked about colour etc etc
I really appreciate that she understood me and instead of simply doing straight away what I "wanted" she explained and so I have a fantastic haircut that fits my lifestyle, suits my face and hair.
This to me is so very important as we see things in a magazine but it might not suit our faces/life and her advice and expertise made me avoid a tragic mistake!!
