I rang up a few Saturdays ago asking if they would be available for two cut and blows and was told that they would fit us in which was great news. I never told the hairdressers but my reason for going was because I was starting chemotherapy the following Monday and wanted to get my hair cut short into a bob and my mum was coming with me to get hers done but more for moral support. My mums was done and over extremely quickly and is now causing her issues as it was cut completely unevenly on each side so it is hard for her to style each day and I feel like I was pressured to keep more of my length than I wanted to and maybe I should have said why I was doing it but I was nervous and wanted to enjoy the experience and wish I wasn’t made to second guess everything. As the cherry on top, when it came to paying my mum was charged £69 which is astronomical for what was done and we were never told the only person available was one of the head stylists as I would have said not to bother as it wasn’t worth it. Just a shame as it was meant to be a special moment but just felt disappointing.
