Had paid around 1,000 GBP for a set of extensions that were completed in March. I had asked to place the bonds in a discreet way and so I can wear braids (leaving a gap in the back to cover the bonds). None of that was accomplished and the bonds were shedding hair quite bad. I went back to ask for a solution upon which the salon kindly offered to redo the set for free. During the consultation Christie was clearly frustrated and awkward although I was trying to mitigate her feelings by noting it is not her fault the keratine wasnt holding, probably a supplier issue. Her good intentions in cutting the pre keratined bundles in two may have been a reason as well, I could see her logic and we agreed to meet a week later for a redo.
During the second attempt for Christie to create a professional set of extensions, I once again noted I want the bonds to be discreet and I also asked her to please allocate more of my own hair to the bonds as I felt the extensions were too heavy on the small strands of my hair upon which she displayed aggression by remaining silent and making a face to this request. The bonds that were created are HUGE and are currently sticking out at the top of my head. The bonds stickyness has trapped other parts of my hair in them which means I cant brush it at all currently without pulling my own hair out. There is less hair added to this set, meaning a good chunk of the hair I paid for is simply lost.
I am taking photos and videos of the disaster assembly if anyone is curious to see how this work is anything but professional.
Taylor Taylor as an establishment is great and they have done all they can to mitigate for one persons repeated mistakes. At this point, I will not go back to TT to ask for help on this, I am having this set removed by a professional in a few days and I will need to absorb the financial damage and emotional distress caused by this. Taylor Taylor in terms of colouring and overall service remains an establishment I would recommend to my friends.
