Genco - not what it used to be

As a client of Genco from approx 2012 I was a slightly taken back by my most recent visit. I noticed on the online booking system that my regular stylist was no longer available along with other members of the team. Upon entering the salon there was no greeting creating a slightly awkward atmosphere. no drinks offered, no consultation about what I wanted to have done. Just overall an awkward and dropped service from what I’ve come to expect over the years. The actual cut itself was a more casual barbershop experience, my face was being touched by both hands and equipment cords which was uncomfortable. The water to wash my hair was scalding. as the atmosphere was silent in the salon and this was my first time in this new environment I did not feel comfortable to say anything. The stylist skipped the hot towel portion of the service. The leave was also uncomfortable. Overall Genco was a salon I depended on for quality service and experience but for some reason there has been a major dip in quality/ perhaps it was a bad day.
