Such is the transformation that Sam’s magical play with colours weaves. He always gets how to tweak and match the shades so that I leave reassured that I can still look and feel good. Even cutting a few more strands into my fringe to give it a bit more body made such a difference. Thanks again Sam - good chat, fun vibes and great results!

I honestly can’t recommend Rachel and Sophie from Strange Ways Hair Salon enough! They were an absolute dream team on my wedding day.

They styled hair for me, 7 bridesmaids, a flower girl and the mother of the bride – and they absolutely smashed it. Every single person had a different style and they executed each one perfectly. Everyone felt amazing and there were so many compliments throughout the day.

In the lead-up to the wedding, we chatted through inspiration pictures so they completely understood the vision. On the day itself, they were so calm, organised and professional – exactly the kind of energy you need on a busy morning. They arrived on time, worked seamlessly together, and used the specific pins I had chosen to incorporate into the styles which made everything feel even more personal.

Rachel even travelled to the venue with us to do any last-minute touch-ups, which went above and beyond and made me feel so relaxed.

Thank you so much, ladies – you made the whole morning such a lovely experience and we all felt incredible! Xxx

I had a restyle, cut and colour today even though I was actually in for a cut and root colour. I always try and get to the salon early, which benefitted me today, as chatting with Nadine, I told her I needed a bit of a change up. She kindly started me early so that she could fulfil my wishes and do some additional highlights. The restyle was brilliant too. Nadine knows my hair and helped me choose a style to give me more body but easily manageable to do at home. As always, I came away feeling very happy with the results. My experience at Strangeways is always very good. My only comments on the negative side is that the prices seem to have gone up a lot over recent months. However, not being able to find a decent hairdresser in my now home town of Grantham, I'm still happy to travel to get the best hair experience.

Highly recommend Zoe, she’s lovely and does a fantastic job with my hair. Haven’t had my hair cut professionally in 5 years, and very happy with the results, even happier I found a hair dresser I feel confident with.

I love Zoie and how she works with my hair. However, last Saturday my hairstyle didn't last more than an hour. I don't know if my hair had too much conditioner in it. I was a little disappointed, to be honest, since going to the hairdresser is never cheap.

Sam has been my hairdresser for many years. Came to him this time saying I wanted to try something new with colour but wasn’t sure what. He gave me such great guidance and advice on what would look good with my hair. In the end we went with pink and I’ve been getting so many compliments. I love it so much! And love how I can just trust Sam to understand what I want and then use his creativity to come up with a great vision.

Nadine is wonderful and super talented with a great eye !
From the start, she was welcoming , listened to what I wanted and then suggested some great new ideas . I have had a few great cuts and don’t want to go anywhere else now.
Other staff are also lovely, have always been made to feel welcome and comfortable .

What i really appreciate is that Holly asks what i want and actually listens. I have very straight hair, and shows any mistakes, Holly cuts my hair beautifully, this is only the 2nd time I have had my hair cut here and the 2nd time I come away feeling my hair looked it's best.
