I booked online on the 23rd of November for a ladies cut with Rob. I have never had my hair done at your salon before and he had come highly recommended. When I phoned to confirm yesterday I was told I didn’t have a booking as I booked on the old system.
I explained I had a confirmation and couldn’t have my time but was offered a later time (his lunch break) or a different stylist. I also work in a service beauty industry and scheduled my clients around this prebooked time frame. I can’t just reschedule clients to get a last minute haircut.
I had no choice but to take an appointment with ***** I came in with an open mind and in need of some guidance. While he did take some time to explain what he would be doing and probably has executed the cut he envisioned.. I’m left pretty deflated. It does look better than what I came in with, but it’s really not what I wanted. I wanted it shorter with more volume and appreciate the layers..but after getting home, I realise it looks more like an A-line Bob... which I hate. So I’m pretty disappointed. I don’t do lots with my hair so I wasn’t expecting too much or feel I’m being overly picky. I just have what I feel is a very dated haircut...and that’s disappointing to me.
I would also like to add that while he was very polite and professional.. I didn’t get the feeling he was in a good mood or even happy to cut my hair, which is also disappointing. I realise that these last six months has been beyond depressing for the beauty industry and my return to work load is draining just like yours..but I did expect more. Again, no offence towards the stylist, maybe it’s just an off day for him. I really wanted to book a Color appointment soon but reluctant after this experience and this feedback. I do have an appointment with Rob for my son and hopefully that will be a better experience.
