Colour disaster and owe me £40 which they wont refund

After asking stylist for a simple colour, a subtle copper, I felt disappointed that all she did was offer the colour chart and suggest a colour, a different one to the one I chose. No suggestion of highlights, no interest in it all. Then as she dried it she said it "hadnt come out as expected". I couldnt see it very well but she said shed do it again, and put on something 'brighter'. Then charged me in advance for another visit. I can see now that this is a procedure. Make a mistake, invite customer in again, and charge them before they can get away. When I got home my daughter said your hair colour is not even, its a mess. It is stripes of different colour, greys still showing, which I did tell the stylist could be colour resistant, and I thought it was her job to show some interest, but clearly not. Dont go back there. I contacted customer care, showing them photos and asking for a refund, even just for the money taken in advance, but expecting them to refund everything. Instead they've constantly tried to force me back to the salon for a correction, something I am sure they are not competent to do and I would never put my hair in their hands again. Ive now been arguing with their cust care for weeks and they will mot even refund me £40, the money taken in advance, for which I have had nothing, so they are not just awful stylists, they are thieves.
