I’m not going to name the stylist, but I am very disappointed with the haircut I received yesterday. It is much shorter than I wanted, particularly the layers, and I’m find it very difficult to style. I showed the stylist 3 different pictures of the kind of style I had in mind, and it is nothing like any of them.
I had full head colour with highlights. Kayleigh did a super job as usual. I love it.

I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived. Dannan was his usual kind self and checked if I wanted to be quiet or talk. I opted for both, starting with not talking which I don’t normally like. However, I feel at ease with Dannan which I really appreciate. He asked how I’d got on with my hair since my last appointment and checked I was happy to have the same which I was this time. After a lovely head massage I mentioned about maybe trying to go to my natural colour. Dannan suggested a way to do this gradually which again I really appreciated. Then we talked about putting some layers in next time. I was very pleased with my hair today and excited about doing something different next time. Salon staff were their usual friendly, professional selves and just wanted to help. I always find my visits a pleasure and up lifting. Jessica is my go-to hairdresser, she seems to know my hair better than me and I always come away feeling very happy with my haircut. She also gives *the best* head massages during a hair wash; I'd come in for that alone!
