Me and my daughters have been going to Leah for a while now and her service experience and friendly attitude is always above and beyond! She listens to what we want and ensures we always leave the salon satisfied!

Not many people have been able to handle our thick crazy hair but she definitely can!!

Very happy with my hair, absolutely to the professionalism, very warm welcome, everyone was so amazing.

I had my colour consult with Leah a couple of weeks ago and she talked me through options, made recommendations and walked me through the prices. Went in today for my colour and cut, it was just great. We again went over the plans she checked in with me on a few points (eg face framing pieces, the longer term maintenance etc). She got to work, and I’ve left with super soft hair in a fab new colour. She also talked me through curling it and made recommendations re products without being pushy. 100% recommend her.

I was in with Vanessa and had a gorgeous cut and blow dry, always so friendly. The team are so warm and welcoming - highly recommend

Vanessa was amazing she did me a lovely blow dry & also told me about the GHD offer (straighteners with a £100 discount) so I got them.

Absolutely amazing first class three separate people did one beautiful job, vanessa did the colour, wesley did an excellent job with blow dry even on my horrible thick curly hair, leah did an awesome job with the cut listening to exactly how i wanted it, all so lovely and helpful so knowledgeable too I will 100% recommend, great advice about products too 😀

I have had my hair cut by Leah three times now and have loved it every time. I trust her opinion and she is superb at cutting and styling it exactly as I want. Fabulous!!

Vanessa has cut my hair a few times now, and she’s always been so tentaitve and listened to what I wanted. Today’s haircut might be my favourite one yet, and I love it! She did exactly what I hoped for and gave me a confidence boost, just like always. Plus, everyone in the salon was so lovely!

I was booked in with Emily and had very brown/red tones in my hair. Wanted to go blonde and was amazed by the transformation. She was one of the best hairdressers I've ever been to. Pictures speak for themselves.

Big thank u for a hairdresser who did my hairs today after my own hairdresser mest up my hairs a week ago, I was desperated to find good hairdresser who can fix my hairs before Christmas. I went to few hair salons but they was fully booked and then I come to House of hairs and I find i can say the best hairdresser I met, also I bought some great products for my hairs which I was recommended by hairdresser. Also thanks for nice cup of coffee and lovely vaves on my hairs. I really enjoyed and definitely will come back again after new years for a new hair cut. P.S unfortunately I forgot to ask her name, im sure she told me her name but I can't remember 🫥😮‍💨

Colour and cut were both bril and Vanessa is so good to talk to!

Lovely colour and cut!!!

Lei really listened to what I wanted and needed and found me the best technique of dying to achieve the effect I was after. I struggle from hair loss and she was very empathetic and made me feel comfortable. She gave me a fresh cut and beautiful blowdry to finish. Lovely looking salon, chair and sink were really comfy, a great selection of drinks offered, nice music playing and a head massage when shampooing. It was a very reasonable for the service and I'm very pleased I chose House of Hair I will definitely be going back again!

Vanessa was amazing from start to finish. My daughter used a mixed dye to black from her auburn natural hair we never thought it would look good but Vanessa was amazing from start to finish and really listened to what my daughter wanted. End result was stunning and the only time I ever heard my daughter say she loved her hair!

I’m always very pleased by the way Leah cuts and styles my hair. She is a perfectionist, taking time to get it just right - and her head massage is amazing.

I had a consultation with Leah and I told her that my current salon was charging me a fortune and I didn’t leave feeling a million dollars as I maybe should have!
Since Leah has coloured and cut my hair it is exactly what I wanted, so I leave the salon with hair that I love for a fraction of what I was previously spending.
Leah listens and gives the best advice on what suits me, she’s the perfect hairstylist!

I just had the most incredible hair extension consultation and I’m honestly still emotional about how positive the experience was. After going through a health condition that caused a lot of insecurity around my hair, I was extremely nervous about even walking into a salon. But from the moment I sat in the chair, the stylist made me feel seen, heard, and completely comfortable.

She listened to my story with genuine empathy—no judgment whatsoever. Instead of making me feel self-conscious, she congratulated me on my recovery and reminded me how strong I am. That alone meant the world.

What truly stood out was how much she focused on the health of my natural hair. She wasn’t pushy at all about products or the most expensive extension options. Her goal was clearly to support my journey, not just make a sale. We talked through what would work best for me and what would keep my hair healthy and strong in the long term.

Kelly is excellent and knows exactly what kind of haircut I want. In fact I didn't get a cut for a whole month to get it cut by Kelly.
I have been coming to House of Hair for over 2 years.

Leah has been styling my hair for around 8 months now. Wash and blow dry weekly and I've had 2 colours in this time. Leah is amazing, she has all the time in the World for you and listens and advices to my every needs. I am very fussy but she is extremely patient and my hair always looks just how I want it to look after her care. She is polite, efficient and I feel completely confident in her hand, so much so I pay up front for 4 appointments regularly and I look forward to each one. Leah makes me feel I am her one and only customer giving optimal service. Thank you Leah 😊

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for what happened yesterday. A regular appointment with the three stylists turned into a true refuge and a haven of comfort for me. I was embraced by warmth and kindness, and I could feel the effort they made to uplift my spirits, never underestimating how I felt.

It was a tough day overall, with some news that really unsettled me and left me feeling like I was running on autopilot. The care I received from the two stylists was deeply appreciated, especially considering how busy it was in the salon. Their thoughtful words and sensitivity made a world of difference for me.

Best ever has fixed my hair from the banding mess it was to an even all over white blonde she has worked a miracle

Always nervous when visiting new salons and I have tried most others in Bedford now in hopes of finding my ‘forever’ stylist. Really positive first appointment, Kelly completely understood that I wanted a minor trim (despite the fact my damaged hair probably needed more) and I left feeling really confident and like i’d been listened to! Thank you. Hair salons can feel really full on and a bit cold towards customers sometimes but I felt really welcomed and calm.

She was really friendly and chatty, and very polite. Thankyou for helping me feel welcome and about colours.
