Excellent experience

All the staff were wonderful and made me feel comfortable about my hair and explained what they were going to do. The result matched my expectations. As it was the beginning of my birthday celebrations they surprised me with some nibbles and a glass of wine and I felt very important which was lovely. For all these reasons I am going to be a regular customer from now on. My moto “keep it on the Pen”. If we don’t use local business we will lose it.

Gabby is an incredible stylist with 15 years experience (as I asked!) she listened to my needs and was quick to give honest advice. Leo gives a great scalp massage and even better conversation - the customer service here is perfect. Extremely happy :)

Gabi cut my hair. She was great. Full of information and more importantly did what I asked for without any issue. It was a great experience. Will be back. She’s the top stylist there so a little expensive but definitely worth it.

T&G generously offer free treatments to people with cancer. Women often have suffered hair loss and self esteem is low. Today I had a beautiful cut courtesy of Gabby the manager at Balmain. She kindly contacted me after a previous visit to invite me back. Super service. Always with a smile. Amazing. Leo washed my hair taking care to avoid the site of my operation. Albert was a friendly presence in the salon. Everyone is professional and welcoming and I was delighted with my cut

Had a beautiful relaxing treatment, cut and blow dry with nieve. Got back to the office and colleagues (including my husband) thought I looked at least 5 years younger (I’m rounding it up to 10 years).

I have been looking for a good colourist forever. My blonde has never been so clean and my hair feels amazing! Gabriella really knows her stuff! Thanks so much!

I am transitioning in colour and am very happy with the result. I have a fresh healthy head of hair with well place highlights that provide depth. I have been to Neive at the salon twice now and will be returning. Today she gave me a very lovely blow wave. Had to weigh up the expense. So far worth every cent.

Great team, that know what they are doing

I feel horrible writing negative reviews but this salon experience was one to remember- and for all the wrong reasons.
I booked into to have a simple wash and blow dry. Naturally straight short/medium hair so basically anyone could do my style. Hair not an issue however the service was absolutely shocking.
My stylist was ... oh wait. Hang on he didn’t even introduce himself. I was a brand new customer to this salon ( hence why as soon as I sat down I was asked to fill out a form that was of no benefit to them!)
Before even any type of brief customer rapport attempt or conversation I was told about a promotion to come back every week!! LOL. I’ve not been in the chair for 3 mins and your trying to sell me something. Not cool. He didn’t even know the Price and had to run and check what it was. Here’s a hint sweetheart. If your trying to sell a promotion, why don’t you win a customer over first and actually know the price and what your offering first. And don’t do it as soon as they’ve sat down. There was no type of consultation or friendly service or conversation which is usually what you would expect from a hairdresser. This guy was a shockingly bad.
He asked me twice how I like my coffee, only to get someone else to do it- who also had to ask me how many sugars I wanted. The coffee was watery and horrible and I left it full.

At the end of the blowdry, he didn’t bother to make sure I liked it, showed me the back with a mirror or anything. It was just like ok we’re finished. Get up.
Oh. As just as I couldn’t leave fast enough, the smoke alarm went off. Ear peircing loud and apparently has happened before. Might be worth getting it checked out.
$71 for that experience was overrated and not worth it.
Tony and guy did have a reputable name in hair for a long time. But sadly this salon did not live up to these expectations. I will never return and will be sharing my experience with all my friends and neighbours who live in the local area.

Apart from my usual lightener re-touch, I had a fabulous cut. I feel like a new person!

I booked an appointment for my hair style and Gaby was so nice. All the staff were really polite and the service was great I loved my hair, I will definitely go back there and will recommend them to everyone.

Service excellent. Salon good. My stylist is awesome. Value a little pricey. Results great very happy. Atmosphere. Could be more relaxing but music really loud, thumping. Whilst I was there there were two older age ladies wanting to relax but hard to do with the noise.

Love those people who always make me feel special... even with aircon not working.

Gabby was a veritable master of style tips & scissors with a genuine personal touch. A cut worth much more than she charged. Super happy with my new hair. Grazie Gabby!

I have been going to Toni and Guy for years in Frankfurt and Singapore. Since moving back to Sydney my experience at T&G Balmain remains the same of amazing customer service and I am always thrilled with the end result of my hair.
