Beauty Xpress - Athlone

I had manicure and pedicure dont today at Penneys athlone. I usually get it done in another bar but got an appointment in penneys before xmas. The pedicure wasn't great to be honest, and the attention to detail while painting the nails is very bad. The end result had some nails with polish on the skins and some nails not painted fully. Also, I am not sureif I trust their sterilisation practices.

The beauty xpress is amazing!!! The amount of people that have recommended these lovely ladies!

Girls were friendly and professional and did a 1 st class job.

Had an appointment today for a manicure and lash tint, arrived for my appointment and my selected therapist was on a break so the manager asked me to have my tint with another therapist until the one I booked was back from break… more tint in my eyes and on my face than the lashes, rough and uncommunicative individual. Then I was passed to someone else who couldn’t complete the manicure but would take off my gel polish and I could come back another time for polish or biab... the girl I booked had another appointment so couldn’t do my manicure.. no customer service skills, extremely poor management who lied to my face about my treatments on arrival and walked out the door without acknowledging the mess up of my appointments.. didn’t have my nails done in beauty express today but no worries ladies lots of great salons in Athlone and my nails are lovely now. I was a regular customer but wouldn’t dream of ever stepping inside your beauty area again.. I suggest you train your management and staff in customer service skills, they’ll need it to survive in the beauty industry.

Nicole was my therapist and she was v good

I got a pedicure with gellish on and threading. Both beauticians were excellent, I had a lovely chat with Annie (I think her name was) during the pedicure. Very friendly and I was relaxed and a new woman after the treatments.

Always go to Laura she is so gentle. Highly recommend. Always does a great job

I recently had a baby and have been feeling depressed and decided to get gel polish manicure done on Tuesday 13th September Soon after it started to peel and chip off so I rang the store today (Saturday) and was seen to to fix the polish. I was willing to pay to get it done again but the woman was lovely on the phone and said it would be free of charge. Large range of Colours. Nicole who did my nails on Tuesday is a lovely girl and I didn’t get the name of the woman who did them today ( Saturday 17th ) but she was very friendly. I will be coming back for sure.

Lovely staff and very friendly. Nails meant to last for 4 weeks but mine didn’t even last 1 week. nail polish started to peel off and eventually all nails came off. Very disappointed with this service and would not recommend.

I've recently moved to athlone and today was my second time at beauty Xpress and both times have been brilliant experiences. The girls are so lovely and its the best my nails and eyebrows have looked in YEARS! Love this place and I will keep coming back!
